No complaints over here. First time coming and it was what I expected. I got oxtail and it was priced good. The portions where fair. It tasted GREAT. Their patties are really good too.Cash only, ATM in the store.
Some detailed division of labor is needed here. Can’t believe attending to just one customer for 20 mins while others wait…they might as well keep taking orders rather one person fully attended to before the next person.
Food was really good. Not spicy. Fresh food. We good small potion. That was enough for one person. I love their side max and cheese. We bought pepper steak and junk chicken. Not spicy. Staff was friendly as well.
Very friendly and responsible staff. We ordered a pepper steak plate and junk chicken plate. Both tasted really good. Food is not spicy so anyone can eat it. But food has lot of good flavors. Even though I am a spicy food lover, I really liked their food and the flavors. We got a mac and cheese with beef as a side and that also tasted really good. Their sweets are also good. Also the plates are well ballanced, they have rice, some veggies and meet. I would definitely try this place again.
I completely understand inflation and respect a small business trying to survive but I'm NEVER going to pay $15 for a portion of callaloo. I'm vegan and wanted something quick. Asked for a small portion of callaloo with nothing else. The woman (who was very pleasant) informed me that the only option to buy callaloo would be in a medium and it would be $15. I smiled, politely walked out and went to a different restaurant. Glad I did because I ended up only spending $5 for Callaloo AND rice. I'm NEVER, EVER GOING BACK to Reggae Jamaica. Not sure if their food is good or bad and Im not willing to find out
This places food is not that good. Would recommend a different restaurant in the Rochester area they overcharged me for there food.A small came out to 15.98! And it’s suppose to 12.00!. I didn’t discover that until later! I usually don’t mind but for the portion and quality it’s terrible. The rice and beans are really bland.not even quality which was really upsetting. Jamaican food I discovered that on Grubhub there’s prices don’t match the in store and when you bring it to someone’s attention they deny it. I eventually got my refund after a three way with GH. They almost didn’t give me my refund. Would recommend Jamaican soul around the corner. Not Actual quality Jamaican food which was the most upsetting part. Don’t be fooled for the art on the outside. Straight ghetto.

I use to order from this restaurant alot, but I haven't had anything from here in 2 years. I ordered an oxtail plate today and it was by far the worst oxtails I've had in a long time. The oxtails and gravy was tasteless. The cabbage was not that good either. I'm kinda disappointed, but I also knew better.
Sorry to hear that some people have had bad experiences. I tried their chicken curry and it was absolutely delicious. Meat fell right off the bone! I think this place is absolutely worth a try.
The neighborhood sit for Jamaican home cook meal. Nice people!!!
