Excellent polish food. There are only a few tables for dine in and not a big staff so service is a little slow. They have a great grocery store inside with amazing polish food. The sampler plate was especially good.
Given that this place has over 500 reviews. I doubt this one is needed. With that being said... We were blown away. Everyone was really nice and the food was delicious. Really sad we haven't tried this place before. We'll definitely be returning!
A wonderful, slightly hidden gem off of busy E Ridge Rd. I have sadly passed by many times without realizing. I was recommended to stop by for 'the best fish fry in Rochester' which I've heard many times, and have tried at dozens of places. I can say hands down that this is actually it. The food was fantastic. Who knew that perogies were the one component that others were missing. I had takeout but there is a lovely porch and patio seating that I will definitely take advantage of on my next visit.
Polska Chata's food is AMAZING! The staff is very nice and helpful. We had the Polish Platter and a Potato Pancake to go, every last item was delicious and a nice serving size. We also took frozen perogies to go, the cabbage and the potato/garlic which both cooked up nice and very good at home as well. No doubt that every time we visit Rochester Polska Chata will be a "must stop"!
The food is incredible. By far the best fish fry in Rochester. The Polish beer selection should be checked out too. The service is great. The place is perfect.
Always friendly and explains foods I’m not familiar with. Very clean and homey atmosphere with a huge variety of things to eat or enjoy other than food !! Love ❤️ going there!

I was introduced to Polska Chata today for the first time and I am really impressed! This is a small family operated restaurant/deli/grocery, hidden right in the middle of East Irondequoit on a residential road. The owner was very friendly and extremely helpful in describing her lunch specials and making suggestions for this “first timer”.I had the “Polish Platter” which was an excellent sampling of several of their dishes, including mouth watering pierogi, sausage and stuffed cabbage. I highly recommend Polska Chata and will definitely be back soon!
Delicious, authentic food prepared by amazing people. Me and my boyfriend go here all the time and is one of our favorite spots in Rochester. I'm Ukrainian so the food is pretty similar, and let me tell you, it's just as good as my own family recipes. The borstch is one of the best I've ever had. 11/10
