I got to try Philomina's food at a new years party that she catered too and it was awesome! Everyone loved it! I will definitely buy some for myself at the public market.

Hand rolled pancake stuffed with veggies and goodness. Delicious. Hidden gem of the market!

Beyond the best I’ve had so far, I hope for to open a Resturant soon I would eat there daily.

The food is incredible here and the service staff are some of the best. I do recommend having a family outing here if you're looking to have a great time with people you love.

Just, wow. The food here was absolutely delicious and the ladies serving it were SO kind. I would love to see this place scale up to a restaurant because I think they would do really well. We got the vegan rice and beans and the plantains with eggs. Super flavorful and tasty with a price that can't be beat. ($15 for 2 meals) Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the Rochester area!

One of the best meals you can buy at the market!

My favorite go-to at the Public Market! Philomena is one of the sweetest people ever, her food is fantastically flavorful, and as someone who has severe gluten intolerance, I love being able to eat there safely.

Great little place for an ethnically oriented dining experience. The entrepreneur is on site and dealing with customers directly. You also have that benefit of knowing that you're supporting a local aspiring restaurantuer. The owner/operator is very pleasant to converse with. I felt that her persona was extremely genuine and natural. The food was hot and delicious. You can request varying levels of additional heat (picante), If desired. They serve a vegetarian and also a carnivore version. Mostly a bean-based presentation. A little bit out of the way unless you're already at the public market. But well worth the expenditure of energy if you're not! I was a little surprised that as a vegan type restaurant, the food came in a plastic container. Especially as an eat-in I expected at least paper plates if not some sort of non-plastic (biodegradable) utensils. Not complaining, just struck me as a little odd in this day and age of eco conservatism. definitely not the place to go if you're looking for elegance or other ambiance! This is after all a public market.

It's not easy to find healthy food and this was so wonderful!
