The pizza here is so good, way better than anything I have had in Rochester!Every component is excellent!! Fresh, thoughtfully and carefully prepared! I could eat a pizza without any toppings the dough is that good. Both texture and flavor make it worth eating.Equally, the cheese, sauce, and toppings are fresh, flavorful and delicious. It’s really great, great, great pizza made by really nice, talented people!
My husband and I cannot say enough about the quality of the food and customer service of Peels On Whees! We’ve gotten pies from here a few times and every single time the food was outstanding, but our most recent visit was the best yet. Having told all of our friends and family about how much we love it here, we had to take pictures before we got to our car… once we’re in the car, it’s all fair game! ? The owner, Luis, struck up a conversation with us and talked us into trying the Sicilian style Marinara pizza. Never have I ever had such a delicious, crispy, fluffy, flavorful pie!!! 11/10 would recommend to anyone who loves a pizza made with more patience, skill, and quality than you imagined!!!???
If you're looking for someplace new for gourmet pizza, check-out Peels on Wheels on Culver north of Main. These are craft made pies by Luis using unique (for Rochester) quality ingredients...sesame seeded crust, organic mushrooms, house-made sauces, mozzarella cheese, sausage or more that are cooked to perfection. The result is a delicious take-out pizza that you and your family and friends will love. This is a relatively new business with limited staff, days & hours, so they have a few kinks to workout with ordering and communication. A suggestions if you order online through ChowNow, be sure to specify if you want cheese and what kind. If you don't, the default is no cheese. I'm sure these issues will be worked out soon.
BEST. PIZZA. EVER. Throughout my time in Rochester I've always tried different pizza places to get that authentic good tasting pizza and I came across this place and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed. The price can be a bit hefty but in my personal opinion it's absolutely worth it!
Some of the best vegan pizza I’ve had! The vegan special I bought was a bit pricey, but it’s supporting small local business, and they also get some of their ingredients from other small local businesses.

Hands down the BEST pizza in Rochester and dare I say in the USA! Owner is extremely passionate about the pizza craft and it shows, from picking only the highest-quality ingredients to even making his own mozzarella He's always researching and experimenting with new crusts, flavors and sides. Definitely try out the Detroit and Sicilian style pizzas, my absolute favorites! And don't forget to add their house-made stracciatella and Mike's Hot honey drizzle on top, you won't regret!
Hands down BEST pizza I’ve ever eaten. The quality and care put into the makings of these pies is second to none. A perfectly crisp crust. Not too thick. Not too thin. The cheese balances itself so elegantly off of the mix of flavors. Luis, the owner is always there and ready to talk with you about his process anytime. Clean shop with good hygiene. This pizza fills you up but never leaves you feeling bloated. I love pizza but honestly this place may have ruined almost any other pizza shop for me.10/10.
Luis and his team at the Pizza Garage make some of the best pizza in Rochester. They have a variety of styles of pizza, all handmade, so there is something for everyone. My personal favorite is the marinara pizza which is sans cheese, but there is so much flavor, you won’t be disappointed. Whether you live in the city or in the suburbs, Peels on Wheels pizza is worth the drive or the walk to pick up a pie or a slice.
