Seafood offerings include fresh fish filets (selection varies based on availability but salmon, tuna, monkfish, seabass, cod, halibut and orange roughly are commonly available) shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels, crab (snow and king) and lobster. They have a frozen section with lots of items including langostinos, crawdads, bones for making stock, shrimp, frozen filets of fish, ect.They will also offer speciality items around holidays... For example corned beef around St Patrick's day. They also occasionally stock dry aged delmonicos and strip steaks (which are delicious!)There's a large selection of various brands/flavors of BBQ and wing sauces, marinades, select seasoning mixes like Montreal steak, olive oil, vinegars and specialty salts.They also have a large cooler of various cheeses and typically have desserts available from cheesy Eddie's.The prices can not be beat, I can get just over a pound of chicken breast for $5. They have tons of brands from dinosaur to some smaller specialty labels.There are also a few coolers near the back that have special premade daily offerings-things like taco dip, lasagna, mashed potatoes, ect. They have also added more cheeses-excellent aged parmesan, Asiago, Romano, ect. I like the buy them and shred them at home to save on buying it pre-shredded.
I bought a beautiful 5 pound beef tenderloin last week. What a high quality piece of meat! It was beautifully trimmed and finished. The meat itself was so tender, juicy and and easy to prepare. Well worth the drive from Webster and I'll be using using Palmer as my go to butcher from here on out.
Thanks Palmers for spoiling our Good Friday dinner! 80 % of mussels were open before cooking. I cooked the 20% that were closed and had one to taste. It tasted awful… out the went to the garbage.The calamari looked fine. I made sauce for pasta and… they had absolutely no taste. The sauce tasted like just tomatoes sauce. No calamari flavor.
This has to be the best fish fry I've ever had, it was even an hour after I picked it up. Tarter sauce is amazing, fish is tasteful, not tons of breading. Just delicious.
Others need to learn from these guys…being a regular customer…we’ve NEVER had a bad meal. I placed our usual order around our usual time and asked for our usual pick up time. NEVER had an issue until today. Spoke to manager and voiced my irritation…told him I am now late for work. He profusely apologized and said he’d make it right…not only did he make it right…he EXCEEDED my expectations of customer service.
The was very fresh and I loved the little bottle of Tabasco at the register.
Superior customer service today and everyday I'm sure. This store was very busy on busy New Year's Eve day but I had such a tremendous experience. It was well staffed and the store was very organized. The stock was plentiful. The people were very friendly. Helpful and excellent products. I highly recommend this store for their catering, freshmade¹ foods, seafood and meets.
Food very good and fresh. I had a haddock and shrimp dinner. The cashier however wasn't pleasant at all. The food can be delicious, but if the customer service doesn't match I don't want it. So it's a HARD NO for me.
Oh my god it's the most amazing meat and fish store even though we travel a long way it's worth it. It's top notch and there food is ? good quality ? but don't take my word for it go check it out for yourself
