Tried the food here for the first time and to be honest it wasn't that great. And I hate to say that because it looks like such a cute place. I got the omelette with bacon that was ok but the well-done home fries honey it taste like they cut it dipped it in water and put it in my container my god, toast was burnt as well. I understand sometimes you can have bad times so I would try again but the home fries is what did it for me, undercooked more like instead of well done

This is a good diner with delicious fresh sandwiches, platters at reasonable prices. The staff is really nice and the overall ambience is good.Due to the pandemic, they have limited hours of operation till 3 pm except on Fridays which they close at 7 pm.

Horrible experience. Where is the 0 STARS option?i ordered from uber eats and the portions were EXTREMELY SMALL! its not like it was gourmet or a meal special enough to be served in a baby-amount. ($13 for 3 little cheese stuffed pasta shells)…i also found HAIR on the food and im pretty sure someone even SPIT in one the plates i ordered. He or She must not have been happy having to work this early in the day. Moral of the story, I would have preferred McDonalds ANYDAY over the meal i had.

I stopped here the other day for breakfast and coffee. Service was fantastic, food was excellent, and the prices were fair. When in Rochester, I highly recommend that you visit the Mt Hope Diner.

Excellent food. Good service and great prices!!

Love this place. Being coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. Service is always great and friendly, prices are great also. The food and portion sizes are generous and tasty. The place is clean with comfortable mixed seating.Highly recommend!

Stopped for breakfast today. Had the "Spanish Omelette," hash browns, and rye toast. The omelette was slightly runny and topped with some sort of sweet chili sauce. Not a Spanish Omelette but I thought maybe I made an error ordering. The "hash browns" were the frozen patty kind and not actual hash browns like most places have.I had to ask for my check twice (I know places are short staffed) even though she passed me four times to serve others.Likely won't go there again. Better values for your dollar exist.

Excellent service, food was very good, and prices were more that reasonable. Highly recommend!

Haven't been in years. It used to be a favorite in my college days. Still great place to eat. Clean restrooms.

When our daughter was sick in the hospital, myself and husband had several meals here. The food was always fresh and hot. The owner of the restaurant was very impersonal. The waitresses helped us feel like we were at home. We appreciated having a little bit of home in a bigger city. Thank You for your kindness.
