One of Rochester's best kept secrets as far as i’m concerned. The best chicken and rice i have ever had. The flavor is something you just can’t describe.
The food is Excellente! They serve authentic Puerto Rican food that's the perfect level of spice. The veggies are flavorful, and the rice is absolutely perfection. Super friendly and affordable meals. 1000% recommend.
awesome. I told them to choose my lunch for me. I was served up rice and beans, beef picadillo and plantains. it was the best picadillo I have ever had. the plantains melted in your mouth. great little spot

Delicious Roasted Chicken, Rice, and vegetables! When I opened the container I could smell the cumin. But the spices were just right. Nice balance of salt, cumin, and spice. The spice was very, very mild. That rice was GREAT. She said it was very popular that day, and selling-out. They had white rice too. I was going to get an Empanada - they were $5 ea, or 3 for $12. But they were very small! And I just didn't think that was a good price. I'm sorry, but in Texas we pay $2 -$2.95 for a very good homemade Empanada! Check out menus with Empanadas in Texas (like Lunitas To Go).I was just staying on downtown ROC for an overnight (with my Flight Crew). Next time I'm there I will go back to Me Gusta for the entrees. I will try pulled pork next time. Yum!
I am blown away at the quality of food at this restaurant. The freshness and flavors of their food are unbeatable. The variety of Caribbean food offered at this restaurant always takes me in a trip to the islands for sure!Their service is so quick, and staff super friendly. Every time I have been there they always go out of the way to assist customers and explain things.Portion sizes are right on, I will never leave unsatisfied or hungry!THIS. is my go to spot!DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, TRY THEM OUT!!
I was so disappointed today with my food. The rice was super spicy and so hot. I told Erica that I was disabled and could l get curbside service which she agreed to l also informed her that I had $20 so she could bring the correct change she handed me the meal and said l get your change l said keep it because I didn't want her to walk back to my car a second time. The one piece of chicken was small l would of thought for $17 l could of gotten two pieces! As a first time customer l thought I would of been treated better and the food was so spicy!???
The food and portions are great. Empanada was also extra delicious. Fast and helpful service. Highly recommend.
