McDonald's sure has gone downhill in the food industry. Although this time I did get hot fries, the burger as usual was cold. I stopped off at the McDonald's on Monroe avenue and was very displeased. The speed of the service was a little better than the others that I stopped at, but I'm definitely going to make Wendy's my first stop for now on. It's a shame too, McDonald's at one time had the reputation for having some of the best food for fast food industry. Now not so much. I still haven't figured out why I keep stepping into a McDonald's? Everyone seems to be the same now, not good. It seems like a whole generation was raised on McDonald's. So in a sense McDonald's is letting down a whole generation. Praise God, and have a good day.
The staff is absurdly rude. I can’t recall 1 order that has ever been correct. For staff to make almost 20 bucks an hour to flip burgers and take orders, you’d think they would carry themselves with some pride and respect. Never seen such privileged stuck up, rude, dirty people in my life.
I will go to this McDonald's any day of the week, especially over the BK down the road! McDonald's here is clean, timely on food preparation and attention to detail amd the staff is friendly and helpful. The bk on the corner of Monroe Ave however has always messed up my orders, takes forever getting anything done, lacks organization and proper teamwork and the hygiene there is disgusting.I'm going to this McDonald's from now on when I want fast food, even if I have to walk and extra block or so to get there. The quality is worth it.
There was a fly left in my food. I ordered a large fry and in the middle of eating them I saw the fly attached to it. I will not be eating here again. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.
This place always seems under-staffed, and it shows in the quality of the food and the service. Expect a longer wait here than at your typical McDonald's, and don't expect the staff to be all that friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get the food you ordered, fresh and made correctly.
It's a mcdonald's, so you get the usual. Consistent food at the bottom of barrel prices. Service is a little slow but they are at a busy area of town and they do their best. The staff is friendly as well which is great!
I had a small fry, six piece nugget and two mc doubles with Mac sauce. Oh, and a Sprite. The nuggets and fries ? could've been a little more fresh buttttttttt it wasn't terrible. Everything was right.
Honestly, enough is enough with this place. Been going here nearly every day for breakfast and order the same 2 items everytime, paying $4.20. Today one item was missing and when I let the women at the window know, they said I was only charged for 1 item and asked how much I paid. So I was charged double for 1 item, left with just the 1 item. I know it isn't a ton of money but this happens all the time. Also, homeless people are ALWAYS here in the morning begging for money. Nah, I'll just go somewhere else.
This honestly, hands-down, has to be THE single WORST McDonalds I've been to in my entire life. Not sure if staffing issues are partially to blame but we ordered at a kiosk that then turned out to be broken so we stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to pay for the order that had supposedly gone through. The cashier was working the register, the beverage area, AND was serving customers at their tables all while the kitchen staff moved like they were getting paid $15/second instead of per hour. We waited at least 25 more minutes before asking about the progress of our order, which wasn't even listed on the order monitor. We had to inquire three times, all while other customers were being served incorrect orders and drive-thru customers were filing in to complain about their orders as well. Finally, after almost an hour of waiting (from the moment of the kiosk disaster on), we were told that the items we had ordered were no longer available. I opted for a refund and waited 5 minutes for a manager, who looked either exhausted or inebriated, and had to repeat a number of times what I had ordered. In the middle, a girl came out with a small bag containing two sandwiches and two hash browns and told us we were good. We were not good. We ordered three sandwiches and four hash browns. The sandwich was unavailable (although it was the exact same as one that was already in the bag) and she'd only dropped two out of four hash browns. I opted not to wait around more and took my $6 refund. The worst part was all of the UberEats and DoorDash drivers that were also made to wait 20 minutes or more for orders they had been told were ready and bagged when they arrived. Considering the busy area this restaurant is located in, you would think the GM would ensure they had a strong and capable staff who moved with a quickness and a sense of urgency. I saw none of that there. Although the staff was polite, it doesn't make up for the lack of care displayed as each one of them performed their jobs. We just moved within two miles of this location today but we will definitely be opting for the Mt Hope location instead of Monroe Ave. So ridiculous and unacceptable. I've never seen anything like it in my life. The franchise owner should be ashamed. From the looks of the Google reviews this location used to be pretty decent. Doesn't appear to be that way anymore.
Wow, great service, friendly staff , hot food, I'm so happy about time!!! And to the young lady that was at the drive thru window about 10 minutes ago thank you, you deserve a raise?
