I appreciated the food here but have decided to stop going because one day the door was locked 5 minutes before closing, and the next week I was told to hurry up in my selections because they would be closing soon.
Great little deli , I stop in for a turkey pastrami sandwich with coleslaw and it hits the spot everytime

I'm not Jewish, so this is something of a revelation to me. I've put their kosher birds side by side with Wegmans organic birds (that I salt brined) on my Kamado Joe grill, and there's simply no comparison. It's got to be the high turnover and freshness of product plus that kosher-brining process. I live in the neighborhood and it's now my 'go to' for grabbing a bird that's immediately ready to smoke/roast. You want it spatchcocked? No problem. How about a soup recipe? Got that too. Looking forward to picking up my kosher-brined T-giving turkey today! Friendly, welcoming service to go along with quality meats. If you've never been in because you don't keep kosher, you're missing out. This catholic is now acutely aware of sabbath hours!
Purchased a meal for 8 for my son's birthday. The chicken and knish were excellent, but the salad and broccoli were extremely basic. I was disappointed considering the cost of the meal... which was pretty expensive.
My family received deli from Lipman's during Shiva week for my mother. the knishes and corned beef were the best I ever had, and I grew up on Long Island with many kosher delicatessens nearby. I am so happy to know that such fresh kosher food is so close to where I live now!
