Just had a wonderful luncheon for a post funeral service. We had originally booked somewhere else, but after eating at original restaurant, we knew we made a mistake. I called Lamplighter and they were so willing and able to help us with a last minute change. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I can't thank them enough. Thank you Lisa and staff!
Seems like a fun place for old people to celebrate their numbered birthdays. I should take my mother here someday, she will probably make some new old friends. Food looks good enough for her dentures to chew, and the flavour will be perfect for her aged tastebuds.

DO NOT - I REPEAT DO NOT EVER EAT AT THE LAMPLIGHTER ON FETZNER ROAD. Our family went to the lamplighter for Easter bunch. I ordered the frittata I took one bite and sent it back. It was so so bad. I ordered something else. My second choice smelled terrible and I chose not to eat it. I did not say one word I just did not eat it. When the bill came I was charged for the frittata I took one bite out of and returned and did not eat! When I asked why did I get charged for the frittata I was told by the nasty rude manager in front of the entire restaurant that it was to bad. She had served a thousand of them and no one complained. I told her that it was terrible and I could not eat it! She said that was to bad and then started to make up lies on what I asked for. It is never acceptable for a manager of a restaurant to be yelling at the top of her lungs about how she did not care that I did not eat it. THAT I WAS PAYING FOR it! I will be disputing the charge first thing in the morning and telling everyone and every platform I can write to about this unbelievable treatment. This manager should be fired she was despicable and has no business working in the restaurant business. She totally ruined my Easter. She needs to be fired! Fired!!!!!!
Went to Texas Roadhouse , Longhorn and Outback !!! Over 2 hr wait !!! What was I thinking ? Lisa at the Lamplighter . Best move of the night. Should have been my 1st. GREAT DINNER !!!!!!!!!!
Good food, excellent service, cozy, comfortable atmosphere, good prices...we very, much enjoyed our experience...will definitely be back.Only negative was the parking, which they have no control over...it's located in a strip mall with a chinese take out establishment 2 doors down & a convenience store...finding a spot to park can be daunting..don't let this deter you though...it's worth visiting the Lamplighter!
Family Christmas Dinner for 12 was flawless. My sincere thank you to Lisa, Amanda and Christine for their attendance to every detail. Our thank you also to the chef who prepared our excellent meals.Thanks for making this holiday one to remember.The Doud Family.
I chose the lamplighter for 6 employees and myself to enjoy a Christmas dinner. We were greeted by a great hostess who promptly sat us. our waiter, Ricardo, was both efficient and helpful. The owner, Lisa, Checked on us a couple of times to be sure everything was satisfactory. The Food was absolutely delicious from the tasty cocktails, warm bread. great appetizers and fantastic entrees. I had the Chicken milanese and my sincere compliments to the chef. The portion was perfect and i ate everything but the very pretty plate it was served on. i was too full for desert but would love a piece of the carrot cake that was on the menu today..lol. And one more note....the Christmas decorations were beautifully displayed...I dont leave my office much but the Lamplighter will be my first choice to return to in the New Year!!!
Such a unique restaurant. Great food, nice ambience and the entire staff, including Christine our server, were excellent. This is what all restaurants should aim for!
