As someone who has been to Mexico on multiple occasions, spending time with locals, and eating food from different parts of the country and enjoying every meal, this was bland and dull - I won't be spending money here again.I hadn't gotten food from them since they were previously in the Valero & Gulf gas stations. I remember their food actually having flavor, acidity, heat. Or, maybe my memory is skewed since I've been spoiled by the improving Mexican food scene in Rochester since then.As a side note... $7.50 for a 4oz side of mediocre guacamole and rediculously thick tortilla chips is crazy. As is $4+ to add guacamole to a burrito.

Service was fast and friendly, and the food was very tasty. It's not your typical Mexican food restaurant, but it's good and worth trying.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!! You will regret it MY FIRST AND LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE!!!! The food is TRASH!!! They don’t know how to make the order correct ruined my dinner. If u want to waste money this is the right place.
Wow, the best Mexican the I've had! Very personal workers in a clean environment. The menu is fantastic and the taste will have you back for that craving. Worth every cent!
Been eating from Itacate since their humble beginnings..They have wonderful variety of authentic Mexican food..ingredients always fresh. Have recommended to many for years..it's a true GEM in town if North Chili.. which itself doesn't have many options. That's wy never disappoint and once you try your hooked.. worth the trip !!!!
It was decent. We miss the authentic Mexican family restaurants that we went to in Florida but this one was ok. The beans and rice left much to be desired though
The shrimp tacos were amazing. They gave a decent amount of food and the seasoning was so good! I hope they stay in business because the food here is amazingly good!
You will be spoiled by this place like I am and won't get Mexican Food anywhere in the area after eating here. The chef/owner is always present and EVERYTHING is made from scratch including the FLAN!!!!
I'm visiting my bf and was told about this place while I was still in London. We don't have authentic mexican food in London (that I know about). It feels like I travelled all the way here for it and I wasn't disappointed. Worth the 11hr flight.
