Amazing cookies, definitely high priced so I only get them for special occasions. On my recent visit the customer service wasn't good but I just brushed it off. I think a rewards system would be really nice.
Tasty cookies, with a good selection of flavours.Staff were nice and helpful.Prices are a bit cheaper than Crumbl but I felt that the cookies were smaller than Crumbl as well.It’s a good place to satisfy your cookie cravings :)
This was a few years ago. I had an extended stay Strong. The nurses were amazing. I figured out the day and time that would be between shifts when the most nurses who had cared for me would be availabl. I ordered several dozen cookies to be delivered at that time and let the charge nurse know. The app indicated that the cookies were being prepared the entire day. I checked with the charge nurse the next day and she said they never arrived. I called Insomnia and spent hours being sent around on the phone figuring it out. I was told the driver wasn't allowed on the floor to deliver them and I explained that I left the instructions in the order to have delivery person ask reception to call the extension for the unit. I finally had it straightened out and was promised a delivery the next day. The next day I received a message on the app that the cookies were unable to be delivered. I spent more time on the phone with a national operator who didn't understand that Insomnia is a block away from the hospital and insisted that the cookies could not be redelivered. I finally convinced them to call the local store, explain the directions of calling the unit and ask if they would redeliver. They did and the cookies arrived... After earlier the shift left and during a shift of nurses that weren't particularly the ones I wanted to get them. Insomnia offered no compensation or even a coupon for a future purchase. I certainly hope their operations have changed for delivery, but this was an expensive experience I am unwilling to repeat.
Tried to get cookies at 1:55am because it says everywhere open til 3am. Went to walk in and was told they are closed with at least two people standing around. Why advertise that you’re open til 3am if you’re not? They didn’t have a sign on the door or anything, just told when I walked in that they weren’t open. Wouldn’t have driven 30 mins on a Friday night for cookies if I knew that it was closed based on the website. Very disappointed.
Amazing cookies.Hands down if you need a cookie fix this is the place to be. Kudos to their late night delivery as well because that legit is the best.
Would be ok... But Need More Professional ppl behind the counter...! Cashier was very rude this evening!? Good cookies. But need more better cashiers, with customer skills. Actually Know If U Have The Cookie Or Not...!?????♂️?
Sooooooo rude! I stopped in and ordered a few cookies, one of them being the vegan birthday cake. The girl charged me for the cookies, then told me they were out of the vegan birthday cake, and I needed to pick something else (no apology for being out, just a straight up "we dont got no more"). I told her I wasn't interested in getting a different cookie. With a full blown attitude she said I had better pick another cookie because she doesn't know how to do refunds.
Donna from Insomnia cookies is amazing! We ordered cookies off ubereats for a UofR employee day. The cookies were picked up by the ubereats provider but were not received by the employees at the scheduled time of 1:45pm. Ubereats was notified and tried to drop the cookies off at 4pm (after staffing had left for the day) I explained the situation to Donna who was super kind and helpful. Insomnia went above and beyond to help show the staff they are appreciated!
Insomnia is a great stop for sweets. Loaded brownies are amazing but their cookies are great too. It’s a must stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Cookies are delicious but latest order from placement to delivery took 2 hours. First they called to say they were out of an item I ordered (fine), then when I called back 50 minutes later to get a status on my order (tracking not working, or updated), they couldn't find my order at first. 70 minutes later order finally arrived. Not sure if it is just a busy night or part of a management issue.
