We ordered the Loaded Southwest Potato chips which are new. The potatoes got soggy before we even got them to the table. We initially asked the waiter to switch the potatoes for chips but he refused. Also had to send back the broccoli soup. ?

I’m so sad to be writing this review. Haveli used to be hands down the best Indian food in Rochester. My husband and I got it at least 2x a week and always looked forward to our Haveli nights. They must have gotten either new ownership or a new chef, because their food has completely changed. Every recipe is different - even the way the Naan is made is different. I have given it over 5 tries since I’ve noticed the change, thinking maybe they were having an off week or something, and I have just now decided I will never order food from here again. The food lacks flavor completely other than just sheer spice. It’s like you’re eating a sauce made of flavorless milk that has too much hot but flavorless spice added. I wish they would have at least announced that their recipes were changing so their loyal customers knew.

I like Indian food and this is by far the best Indian restaurant in Rochester area. They serve Indian style lunch everyday and have buffet dinner on Thursdays. I could see people line up to eat here. The food is very tasty with right amount of spices. You can almost get every Indian dish here. I was amazed that they could cook so many dishes perfectly. The place is clean, the staff are courteous and the price is reasonable too. I visit here very often with my friends and family.

This place is the most delicious, CLEANEST, friendliest restaurant around! The food is beyond delicious, always fresh. The waiters ,owners and cooks are such hard workers and so kind. I have young kids and they’ve always been the best with accommodating to make everyone comfortable and never turned away (unlike some places!) it’s always a pleasure to eat here, and see all the staff! I recommend for absolutely everyone!

I always hate to acquiesce with my friends to eat “Rochester Indian” so haven’t been to Haveli since COVID and beyond. But I declare this place the best of Rochester. Ok, I am vegan and my friends are vegetarian, but if you can’t make Indian vegetarian then….The food was spiced pretty well and medium heat, although a little light on the chili, was tasty. Appetizer plates are extremely generous and for the most part better than average. Chutneys can be bought in any Asian market though.Chana masala decent not the usual glob of cardboard flavor. Tofu chilies was surprisingly good although not a classic Indian flavor. Ginger soup lacked solids-not enough ginger or cauliflower. This is the only Indian I would happily return to in Rochester. It doesn’t compare w Rajasthan or Delhi places, NJ OR Queens strongholds but I’ll be back for sure.

Food is amazing for a great price go there every week

On a last minute whim, my friend and I opted to head into this Indian restaurant on a fraternity reunion weekend we were attending at R.I.T. We ended up having the buffet which was absolutely incredible and fresh tasting on every level. The owner was super friendly as well checking on us several times to see if we needed anything including more fresh Naan. This place is amazing and we both said we’d go back!

Great Indian buffet and impressive hosts. Ashok, the owner, took good care of us, made us feel @ home and encouraged to try every cuisine. Relished Indian food after a long time!

Just left here soooo.. delicious! Had the dinner buffet! Pricing isn't bad either. Def try this place out, staff are super courteous and friendly

After moving back to the area we have tried every Indian restaurant in Rochester looking for the one, Haveli was our last one and we struck gold! . Haveli was delicious! The lamb biriyani was made authentically and with care, it was so good! The chicken korma and makhani were also delicious. Highly recommend this the peshwari nann. Yumm. We will definitely be back to try it again.
