We ordered over $200 in cupcakes and a “smash cake” for our daughters 1st birthday and how disappointing….The only good thing I have to say about both was how cute they were decorated… BUT both the cake and especially the cupcakes were SO INCREDIBLY DRY!! Tasted stale, like they had been sitting around for a week… They were dense, no flavor, and so unbelievably dry… We are sorry our guests had to eat them and so upset on the amount of money we spent on them after driving over an hour to order and pick them up as well ?
The custard filled pastries tasted liked boxed pudding mix in a flavorless shell. The PB choco chip cookies were too tough to eat more than one.
The cake I ordered was said to feed 8-12 people…..maybe children, not adults. I had to buy extra cupcakes to feed the amt of people we had. Very discouraging. Then I cut into the cake and serve it, it was BY FAR THE MOST DRIEST THING I have ever put In My mouth!!! It was dense, bland, no flavor and disgustingly dry!!! I’m glad I’m from out of town and will never have to return to this bakery again!
I purchased the rainbow layered cake for a birthday.It looked amazing and had a ton of servings. Probably the most awesome cake I've seen artistically.The cake however was very, very dry. It didn't have much taste. If I didn't know I had just ordered it, I would have guessed it was 2 days old.Unfortunately, we ended up tossing a lot of it because no one wanted it. It wasn't gross, it's just for that price, I expected a much better quality of cake.They also wrote the "Happy 21st birthday Isabella" on the piece of cardboard that it came in instead of the cake. I recommend them letting the buyer know that it wouldn't completely fit; I could have shortened her name to her nickname or just have them write Happy B-day.So, the rice Krispy treats....thee. best. I. have. ever. had. I made the mistake of eating 3 in one day and do not recommend it because of the size and density but they were just so good.
We used get cakes for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and I can’t say enough good things about them! We sampled many different flavors before deciding on carrot cake (rehearsal dinner) lemon cake (as our tiered cake) and chocolate cake (sheet cake) with peanut butter filling. All the cake was perfectly moist and delicious, probably even better than when we sampled. We gave them some inspirations and pieces to be used to decorate our tiered cake and it was exactly what we hoped for. I also have to comment on their responsiveness. Get caked was the only place to respond to us in a timely manner when we first started looking for bakers (other places took ages to get back to us) and we had excellent communication all throughout our planning and pickup phase. Would 100% use get caked for any important event in the future.
I got custom cut outs done as well as some of their staple cookies. The team was easy to communicate with and everything was delicious!
We ordered this cake for my wife's bday from them and TBH, it's the worst tasting cake we ever had. Cake itself was so hard and dry. The Boston creme filling was unbearably very sweet. But I can say this, the cake looks elegant. After tasting one slice it went straight to trash.

Tbh I’m very disappointed with the cake I received for my baby’s first birthday party it was nothing like I remembered when I had there cake year ago. I ordered a number one cake apple cake with Bavarian cream and tbh I just didn’t like it at all the cake looked nothing like the picture and the frosting was not smooth at all i never will order from them again on top of that they said it would let be nomore than 90 dollars but came up to 100 dollars and it wasn’t even worth it. The cake actually tasted like cinnamon carrot cake and the apple cake I had by them before had apple pieces in it and all. If we did lent have his party yesterday I would have bought the cake right back and got my money back to be quite honest. I don’t know what happen but maybe they have new people cuz it just wasn’t it photos included with the side by side of what I ordered(Pinterest photo) vs what I got
