Food was terrible tables were dirty will never go back. Save your money!!!!

Went to this resturant for the first time a few weeks ago. It was busy on a Sunday, but 2 servers. One of the servers took about 15 minutes to us. We had to stand up and ask the front desk girls to get us someone else.After all that wait, the food was decent. Decor in the building could use some rework. Wouldn't be my first place of choice to eat, but it's certainly better than half of the fast-food chains in the area.
George's is a nice diner, it's always busy, so you know the food is good. This most recent time I was there, however, for lunch I ordered a grilled cheese which was rather expensive at $8.49 and adding ham to it was $2.00 more which I thought was very high considering it came with chips and a pickle. Adding an iced tea and replacing the chips with fries brought the total to $18.49, which to me seemed ridiculous for this. The sandwich was fine, but I wish I stayed with chips, as the fries were breaded, not the kind I like. I will go back though, but not for this sandwich.
Very complete menu at lunch. Courteous fast service. Very tasty breakfast meals. Gyros is great.
The service was OK BUT the food (Brakefast) was very greasy. The hash browns were under cooked, the food left a terrible taste in my mouth.
Food was very good - price seemed a bit of a mystery - I ordered lunch online and the total was $14.54 which included tax, but no tip. My plan was to pay $20 leaving about $5.45 tip because I know that the wait-staff has had ahard time making ends nmeet during covid. I was in a big hurry so I did not have time to figure out why the price jumbed to $18.20 in the 20 minutes it took me to get there. I feel bad, because that means the tip was actually only $1.80. I know there is inflation, but 25% in 20 ninutes is crazy.Otherwise would have been 5-stars.

The food is always amazing here and the service is some of the best. I recommend trying this place out when you have a chance.
Good friendly service, we were able to get in quickly Saturday morning for breakfast. Got the crab cake Benedict, which was good.
