Worst Italian in the area go to Bella pasta instead! The service sucked we waited for take out for over a hour. After we showed up when they told us it was going to be ready no one would ask us what we where there for. Three different people approached us then walked away and never said anything. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we were told the chicken got burnt and it would be another 30 minutes on top of the hour we already waited. When we got home it was so disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry and the noddles were hard. I had to through it in the trash because it was inedible. I called and ask to speak with the manager was told the manager was busy and they couldn’t even help. Will NEVER be eating there again!
Never acknowledged or honor my request made online . Waited for ever to order .. Food was awesome!
I’ve ate at lots of Italian places in Rochester and this place is definitely below average unfortunately. Their red sauce seems like it’s really cheap. Didn’t taste very well. No one was really all that impressed with their meal. Plus it was super hot inside like they didn’t have the AC on. Everyone in my group was hot. Kinda strange too the place was pretty dead on a Friday night.
The service was great. Our waitress was pretty fast with our food. Our only complaint is that we didn't get refills on drinks at all. And we had to find her to get a drink to go before we left.
Great food!
was not informed that menu was online, was not offered APP to look it up. we looked it up ourselves hoping to get meal sooner. Waited 15 mins for waitress to even acknowledge us Food was very good and portions large 1
In a somewhat deserted shopping center that time has passed, is an Italian gem called Davinci's of Greece. I saddled up to the bar on a deserted Thursday night, and a thoughtful bartender/manager (and the owner's daughter) patiently went through the menu w/ me. I decided on the Chicken Francese w/ the Ziti on the side w/ marinara. While I confess to being a food snob, Davinci's passed w/ flying colors. The marinara was perfect w/ a nice subtle kick to it. The Chicken Francese broke apart w./ my fork, and was perfectly cooked. My only adviceis keep doing what you're doing. Your food is superb and reasonably priced.
Waitstaff were friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation. I had the Cesar's salad with shrimp. Tails were on, which I didn't expect, but they were big and juicy. My guest enjoyed the ravioli with a marinara sauce. One of us had the taramisu which they described as delicious. The reservation system on line was a bit wonky. I recommend calling for your time if did not appear on the selections. On line there was nothing available at my time choice. The place was half empty the whole time we were there.
My family, friends, and I have been guests at Davincis for awhile between several birthday dinners, holidays, everyday dining, and jazz nights. Most recently, we spent Mother’s Day at Davincis where we had a delicious meal alongside great service. This restaurant is excellent and well deserving of more positive recognition. The “new” owners are talented, driven, and bright individuals who take pride in their establishment. Too often do people only comment on their negative experiences without acknowledging the stellar food and service delivered a vast majority of the time.
The food was delicious and a member of the party had dietary restrictions that they met very well. Service was a bit slow but it could be that they cooked to order. Waitress was very nice
