Awesome Asian dining at a very reasonable price.Quickly seated on a busy Saturday night. Our party of three ordered soup, apps, and entrees from a very accommodating waitress. Everything was well timed and served hot and tasty. Definitely earned the 5 star rating tonight!

This is, in my opinion, the best Chinese restaurant in the city. We've been going here for years and always have an excellent meal. Now, it's located in strip-mall type situation, and doesn't look like much from the outside. But step inside to a nice big bar, friendly staff, and a good sized dining room. Their menu is extensive. We're talking like the Cheesecake Factory of Chinese menus. Everything from the ubiquitous sesame chicken to the more nuanced fusion-style dishes are above average in quality. We've always been a fan of their duck dishes, but just about everything is really tasty and reasonably priced. The one constant we order is their Salt & Pepper Squid Tentacles. This is arguably my favorite thing to eat at any place I've been too.Pro-tip: If you like chicken wings, they have HUGE wings and their prices haven't inflated as of late. An order of 10 is still under $10. I highly recommend trying them not plain or "hot and spicy", but using their hot soybean sauce that they use on other dishes. It's kinda a special request, but they have always obliged when we order. It does get busy, so reservations are recommended, but this place will make you a believer and you'll want to explore their menu like my family has been doing for a looooong time.

I was greeted right away and had me in a seat right away. Gave me menu with water and tea right away. I ordered a mix drink zombie and was made right away. Drink is tasty and delicious. I got a appetizer of crispy minced shrimp with bacon which was delightful and my main course was General Tso scallops add shrimp. Drink service was quick and got my second Zombie. The drinks are made correctly here. I give Chen Garden 5 star. 5 for 5 for drink, 5 for 5 for service, 5 for 5 for food.

My wife and I make it a point to eat at Chen Garden at least once a month. Our previous visit we ordered Moo Shi chicken and Broccoli and beef with soup. We were disappointed in that meal thinking the cook was having a bad night. This week we returned and both of us decided we would order Moo Shi chicken and soup. We should have called on our previous experience and stayed home. This was absolutely the most bland Chinese meal we’ve ever had. There was no taste to it even if we stirred in the sauce that came with the meal and liberally added Soy sauce. At this time we decided to take Chen Garden off our ‘to visit’ restaurants and do not plan to go back. Really disappointing.

Best Chinese food in town, wonderful customer service, reasonable prices and huge portions

I’ve always had a very good meal. Very large portions served hot.

Old style setting. great food and atmosphere.

We ordered take-out from here. We've been to the restaurant dozens of times, and we've ordered take-out before. It was always really good, which was why we picked it up from the Ogden area this time. We were not happy. My 12-year-old son ordered sesame chicken, which he said he liked but barely touched. (He's pretty picky anyway, though). My husband ordered beef with broccoli, and I ordered Kung Pao Chicken. They were both bland and way under-seasoned. They had no spice to them, nothing. We had to add a LOT of different seasonings and salt to get any flavor whatsoever. The rice was different as well. It was puffy like there had been too much water added. Overall, the experience just wasn't that good. I doubt we'll go back again after this. There are many other places that are better.

I shared this picture because this was the first time in history I ever ordered Chinese food and actually finished all of it. I got shrimp lo mein and the flavors were outstanding, fresh and hot. I thought I would never find a Chinese take out spot worth eating a second time.

Amazing dinner with a good group of people. The lighting I would say is intimate, dim but The owner works the floor and makes sure each and every customer is happy. Very nice man and lovely restaurant. You can tell they really care here. Parking is subpar but thats not so much the restaurants fault but the popularity. Went for Chinese new year! Had the Roast duck stuffed with minced shrimp and a Plum wine, it was a good pair! Definitely recommend the plum wine.
