My family loves coming here (we frequently come for lunch and dinner) and we love some of the staff! However, there have been some customer service issues recently (eg. Today I spent almost 10 mins “on hold” and then no one picked up when I tried calling back 4 or five times. Had to wait an additional 10 mins before calling back I understand being busy or having a rush but it was ridiculous especially when you can hear the breaks in each transaction) and just confusing card policy that allows some to use credit cards after a certain time but not others. Loved them in the beginning but we might have to take a break from eating here.
This is an unassuming place from the outside, the service was really good and the place was very clean. I ordered my first garbage plate here. I got the sausage which turned out to be patties, I was expecting links, so that’s on me for not asking details. I’d give it an 85. Fries and onion rinds were 100. Wife and daughter really liked their garbage plates.
Today I give you 5 stars as I'm so grateful for the two ladies tonight whom tried to help me get a delivery out. They were patient to see what happened with me. My phone service got cut off in the middle of picking up an order to Dash with for a customer. I ended up leaving the order and they said they would notify the customer for me. Well I know that order got resolved but I still ended up with someone else's food. Thanks ladies for going above and beyond to help me out. Oh yeah and by the way their fish fries are great. Ok I will see you on my next shift.
Ordered through Grubhub… order arrived incomplete… missing a pie that was 1/3 of the order/bill…called and was told they had several other flavors, but not the one I ordered… when I asked why I hadn’t been contacted, Ashley told me they had attempted to submit a refund via Grubhub, but it had not gone through… when questioned again about why I hadn’t been contacted, I was told by Ashley, “That’s not what we do.”. She gave me the owner’s name, Robyn, and became extremely defensive when I questioned why Robyn would have a customer service policy against communicating with customers… Ashley said she would resubmit the refund… After I did not receive that refund and Hrubhub had not been updated, I spoke to Shane- who identified himself as the cook. Shane claimed to have submitted the refund 4 times before my order went out for delivery. He claimed not to understand how submitting a refund 4 times would indicate that he knew there was an issue. He backed up Ashley’s claim that contact customers is not part of Chappy’s policy and was not an option. When asked why his story about 4 refunds was different than Ashley’s story about not knowing the 1st didn’t go through, but she put in a second after I received the order and contacted them, Shane stated he was not lying, Ashley was. Both employees stayed no manager is on the team. I still have not received a refund or communication from Robyn. All of this could have been avoided with a call asking if I’d take a different flavor pie. Sad since the rest of the order was delicious, but untrained employees with no oversight will take down this business.
Amazing customer service, very nice staff. I ordered online late at night for me and my coworkers.. Unfortunately Chappy's had ran out of Mozz stix, they let us upgrade to any side we wanted to replace them. Great plate!
Called in and ordered fish dinners for a specific time. They were fresh and just being boxed when we got there to pick up. Not sitting and getting cold. Great customer service. Will definitely be back.
Came here with my family tonight. Not busy at all. I ordered a cheeseburger plate and the fries and burgers were cold. Along with my kids fries. You think the food would be hot since we sat inside to eat.
I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food was cold and both times my credit card had additional charges for two days in a row after using it there. Something going on prob safer to pay in cash.
100% would not recommend this place horrible customer service with worse food. My experience eating here was just bad in general. My wife and I took the family here and the place was just a mess. They were really rude. not to mention there was pee on the toilet seat when my daughter went to use it. My kids had legit stomach aches after eating here. Me and my wife were fine but I just wouldn’t recommend this place at all. DONT EAT HERE!!!
