the best fish and chips i ever eaten. i recommend this location. the reason i gave it 4 stars is because all of the town was open for dining-in after COVID, and they did not allows us to sit and eat, there tables where closed.
I ordered 2 fish dinners and 1 baked scallop dinner. Was advised it would be 20 minutes for the scallops and I agreed to wait. When I got home there were only 3 scallops in the dinner but its cost more than the fish dinners. Not sure if this is normal, only ordered fish dinners after that.
If your BLACK don’t come here for food. My Children and I drove over 30 minutes here for dinner and they refused to let us order. The sign on the door and the website says they are open until 7pm. It is only 5:30, so I don’t understand why they refused to serve us. The only excuse I got, was they are not taking orders right now. Take your business up the street to Jumbos fish market instead!
I'm a first time customer and and I got two wild caught salmon fillets to try. Absolutely phenomenal piece of fish. Deep color and excellent flavor. The staff are super knowledgeable and offered valuable advice on preparation. I will be a long time repeat customer with this type of experience.

Ordered at 1 pm fish, slaw and fries for 6:30 pick up. Did so because wk before could not order late afternoon.. no orders being taken. Got there 6:30. Others coming in and leaving who did not order at 1. Told slaw was out but no worries mine was accounted for. No.. ends up no slaw for me who ordered at 1pm. Had choice of Mac salad or fries . Left not wishing to make as scene and could not get a call through to mgr.. Called next day and was told they have to estimate slaw. They run out.. that is the way it is. No customer service, not caring that what I ordered was not what I got. Just a brief apology and too bad. Not a single solution expressed. No money back, no cup of slaw… nothing! Inexcusable service and customer care. Posted on their website and they took post down! No more Capt Jim’s for me and anyone I can share with.

For the price, fish fry was small. Taste was ok, not fantastic, but small.
