6/6/21-My husband and I had eaten and were listening to the musician playing when a strong gust of wind knocked a table umbrella onto my husbands shoulder/neck/head-he was quite stunned -staff were very helpful-brought ice for him-we asked to speak to manager-owner came over-I wanted to make them aware and file an accident report in case anything came of this-a comment was made as to "some people make a big deal out of things like this"-I was quite put off by this but just wanted to exchange info (which we did) and leave as my husband remained stunned-we then asked server for our check (no compensation offered) paid our bill ($83.12 including tip) -He went to his Dr-they took xray-all seemed ok after a few days rest-He called owner a few days later and explained again what happened and was a little disappointed that at least our meal wasn't covered-owner very nice-said he didn't realize we had eaten-would send us a $100 gift card and cover medical copays-(small amount) well-nothing came -my husband left a few messages there- we never received anything- I held off writing this -giving lots of time for owner to follow up-terrible way to treat customers
Bugs on the window sills, gnats circling our table and very small portions. Our server was very attentive though.
Having heard about this place for many years I finally made it there and was utterly disappointed. It's not really sushi and it is definitely not really good. I'm not even sure why I'm being so generous as to give them 2 stars. There is zero chance I'll ever go back.
Would give zero stars if I could. Called several times on a Wednesday night to place a pickup order and got no answer each time. Checked to see if they were closed and they were taking online orders until 9pm. Placed an order at 6 pm for 6:45. When we arrived the restaurant was pitch black, nobody there. Still have to charge pending but I will chargeback if they do not refund my money. This used to be my go to for sushi but I will never be back
Sushi wasn't good. Ordered a philadelphia roll and 50% of it was cucumber. The rice was dry and there was barely any salmon. Most of the rolls on the menu try to be interesting by adding bacon which don't really seem appetizing.
We specifically told our server that someone in our party had a severe shellfish allergy and she ordered plain vegetable rolls but when we got the food hers had crab in it and all the sushi was on one plate! We also was very specific we did not want raw sushi and we received sushi with RAW EEL!!! wont go backWe also waited over 1 hour for our food we saw several people get up and walk out because the server never came back to them after they were seated
Decided to try this place for a fish fry. After waiting for 20 minutes for a server we ordered drinks one was right the other was wrong. We should have known then that this was a mistake. They had a server going around passing out a fish stew for everyone, it was absolutely terrible. When we finally got our food it wasn’t much better. Between the lousy service and the lousy food we won’t be back. I doubt anyone there will care, they don’t seem to be to interested in running a successful restaurant.
Terrible. Tried 9 different sushi dishes. Literally everything has either bacon, cream cheese, or avocado. The flavors are unique, but not enjoyable. Had to smother with wasabi and soy sauce to make things more palatable. Fish was mushy and losing flavor. This place probably stays in business thanks to it's location, because there is nothing redeeming in the food. Sad.
Great atmosphere. I had a problem with point-of-sale and the bartender just gave me a Coke. Great music and the Valerie tempura was fantastic.
Horrible service by staff that did not know the menu. Our server welcomed us, took our order, then went on break without telling us. The wrong food was brought to our table and when someone finally came back to check on us, we let them know and instead of making a new order for the customer, they took the plate that we had and brought it to them… gross!! Our sake was given with the small plastic to go containers for glassware because the server said she didn’t know where they are. We also asked for an extra side of ginger and our container had about 3 pieces in it. We have not had such a poor experience in a very long time.
