The Mac and cheese was horrible and the greens was not seasoned the pictures looked good the food was horrible won’t eat here again and the cube steak tasted like dry cornbread
Food is very good and your not waiting 45 minutes to get a plate.
I'm ALWAYS open to support black owned business. However my experience in my 1st visit was not what I expected when I got ready to eat my food. I ordered chicken and dumplings, which I thought was supposed to have chunks of dumplings, however it was potatoes and maybe a piece of dumpling in it with way too much rice. I was excited about the fact she had chitterlings also, so I ordered a side to see how they were but was charged a full price for a side dish and there weren't enough to compensate paying the same price I paid for a full dinner. Over charged and disappointed in the end with my 1st and last experience.
Great family owned soul food place to go loved it they were very friendly. I'm visiting from Detroit and will come here several times before I go back home

Food was ok fried ribs weren't coated and fried mac n cheese flavorless but good texture pot salad potatoes weren't chopped and no sweet relish.
The food looks better than it tastes. My smothered pork chops were burnt and tough. The rice with the gravy was sweet. It was a total waste of my hard earned ?.

I ordered through DoorDash. That experience alone was interesting. I ordered a smothered pork chop dinner. I didn't like the seasoning, it seemed a bit bland. I'm not expecting a load of seasoned salt or Adobo but I'd like some flavor on my meat. The collard greens to me tasted more like Mustard Green which I loathed and the yellow rice tasted like it's about a day or two old. I want to comment what the seasoning tastes like but I could be wrong so I'll pass and then I receiv
