Very quick service, different coffee every day. Loved the cookies. Tried the everything bagel with the garlic and herb spread. I would come again. I love having a local bakery in every corner of the city! This is a must try!’

Got a dozen bagels here and these bagels were everything I look for in a bagel. Perfect crust, chew, density. Coatings are generous We tried the Montreal everything and sesame... delicious.

I’m from Long Island and these bagels are so good. I’m eating a sun dried tomato bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese and I’m levitating. I usually get the egg bagel with lox and cream cheese and it’s amazing. Amazing experience and really nice workers!

My Rochester go-to bagel joint. Simply the best. And the staff couldn't be nicer.

I found Balsam through all the reviews. The staff was super nice and helpful, but the bagels were pretty average. These are not the dense bagels your find in NYC. The coffee? Not so great.

This is hands-down the BEST place for vegan breakfast. Almost all of their bagel flavors are vegan (besides obvious ones like cheese bagels etc.). They always have muffins and other baked goods and every time I’ve been there they’ve had at least one thing that’s vegan! Not to mention that their vegan bagel breakfast sandwiches (which you can get with a sausage patty, cheese, and egg that are all vegan!) are AMAZING. Staff are always friendly too. I can’t recommend this place more!!

Bagels are very flavourful. I tried the Salsa Jalapeno and sun dried tomatoe. Each had its unique flavor.the cream cheese was also very tasty. The scones were fresh . friendly staff and quick service. Totally great place for Bagels in Rochester

VEGAN OPTIONS GALORE!!!!!!! Favorite place for breakfast by far. They even have vegan cream cheese to buy in tubs, all the bagels are vegan except like 2. Everything is labeled really well! More than just bagels too

When I first went here, an employee very unprofessionally yelled at someone who walked in with out a mask. I don’t care if you have signs or not, not everyone is tempted to read every sign or any sign, but rather to just walk in a place & buy a product. Either supply a mask or tell someone in a normal way if you won’t serve them. I left right after that charade — ain’t no bagel worth rude people.

I LOVE Balsam Bagels! Every single time I have been there, it has always been a great experience! Every single employee that works there, is extremely nice, they never seem bothered and never rude!! It seriously matters! It makes me want to drive out of my way and go there, rather than Brueggers, or another mediocre Bagel place! 5+++++ Stars every time!Today I enjoyed an Egg and Cheese on a multi-colored Plain bagel! Superb! Was gone in two minutes flat!
