The actual bagels at bagel land are the best in the area and probably better than a lot of NYC bagels I've had. The service is also really quick and the cream cheese is great. My one complaint is the amount of toppings - they don't have any vegan cream cheese, no smoked salmon, no veggies, no sandwich toppings. So if you're looking for a great bagel and cream cheese this is definitely your place!
Get there early!! The bagels are the best...soft and chewy. Tons of flavors...cream cheese varieties, fresh butter, fruit juices, etc.

I was in the store this morning. While this young women gracefully ignored the rude employee, fat shaming her. I myself was mortified. She told her she couldn’t wait to see her fat! She told her they were going to have to make the door ways larger because she will be to fat to enter. This girl didn’t say anything so this employee kept saying more mean comments to her. I will never go to this bagel land again after witnessing an Employee Fat Shaming I will tell everyone I know Not to go into this place of business.
3/23/2022Bagel Land's bagels are very good and the only reason that I am giving it one star is because of the service on the afternoon of 3/23/22. As I waited in line, I watched the girl contaminate various bagel bins by reaching into those bins with the same gloves that she was handling the money. When it was my turn, I requested that she please change her gloves before she reached into a large plastic bag for my bagels wherein she slowly shook her head with obvious disapproval of my request; alternatively, she grabbed a piece of tissue paper to handle the bagels still refusing to change her gloves. Not only is this girl not following the disinfecting protocol stated clearing on their website, she is in need of an attitude adjustment.
Great variety of bagels and cream cheeses, and the bagel dogs are just the absolute best.

Best bagels in Rochester. Great flavors, excellent chewiness. Plus the nicest people. Oh, and every flavor of cream cheese you can imagine.
Dude running the counter was super friendly, he was working very hard to ensure we all got in and out in a timely manner despite being the only employee on the floor- would 12/10 return more often if I didn't live so far away :)
