My family and I found this place on a whim looking for something to do on a Friday night. Though we made reservations ahead of time, we walked in blindly not knowing what to expect. Regardless, within 15 minutes of being there, we were more than pleasantly surprised! The small yet social atmosphere paired with the impressively crafted drink menu made for a great night on their own, but our instructor Erik (with some help from Beau) was the true reason behind the charm of this place. The instructors who work here are very knowledgeable and definitely take the time to make sure your experience is the best it can be! Thank you Axes and Ales for a great night, and we hope to see this company get more love!!
Absolute blast. Friendly staff who are very personable and enjoy sharing techniques with groups of all skill levels and abilities. Will be back soon!
Went here with two other friends, spontaneously!Erik and Beau were our instructors/hosts. They were extremely hospitable, entertaining and made the overall Axe-throwing and Pool experience even more enjoyable.The beers on tap were good.We definitely plan to visit again, and to bring more friends when we do.
This was a really fun place to hang out! They definitely need more than two people running everything though, but it's not something I can fault them for since there are staffing shortages everywhere. Everything was a little rushed instructions-wise, but you could tell that the employees were trying their hardest to give everyone a great experience. Had a great time last night. Thanks to Justin. He was a great host and instructor. Helped to have his tips up front to be good enough to have a fun, competitive evening. He took care of us, checking on how we were doing, and if we needed drinks. Great place, fun night, I highly recommend you try it.
Such an awesome time at Axes & Ales! Hosted a birthday party there, and everything was top-notch from start to finish.The owner (Beau) really went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time and provided great instruction. Eric came in later and took really good care of us as well. It's just a really fun and laid back environment - with a fantastic craft beer selection too.If you've never been, you're missing out! This was the first trip there for all of us and we all walked out thinking the same thing...we can't wait to go back again! Thank you guys!

Great time! We went for a buddy's night out with 9 guys and it was a blast. The place is nice inside, good beer selection . You can hang out before your time and after. The axe throwing itself was a lot of fun. Different games to play. They did a good job and getting you started, making sure you know the ground rules, and giving you space to have fun. I would go back.
We have enjoyed Axes & Ales with our teenage boys each time we've booked. Eric is super friendly and helpful! It's a safe and fun environment. They have a nice bar and allow food to be brought in. The sport itself is fairly easy to learn. I highly recommend!
