The food is fantastic real Mexican . They have specialties that I think are seasonal depending in the peppers that are available fresh . It’s well worth stopping here they might still have free Mexican coffe
Looks like my experience fell right in the middle of most of these reviews. Came in on a Friday afternoon, place was empty, took a minute for anyone to come out. The service was very curt and to the point. Not unfriendly or rude but not exactly welcoming. Food came out very quickly and was good. Prices were a bit high though for what it turned out to be ($18.47 after tax for a basic taco bowl and drink). Being from Colorado where the Mexican food selection is plentiful and inexpensive this was nothing special, but I could see how it might stand out if there aren’t many Mexican places around here. Altogether not great, not terrible. Worth a visit to check it out if you’re curious, but bring cash!
Been seeing this place for a while, finally decided to try it! I saw they had Birria tacos and i am obsessed with them… so i decided to order them,pros: the tortillas are handmade which for me makes them taste much better and more authentic. The meat is so soft and tender very delicious. The birria tacos have melted cheese which makes it so yummy.Cons: I was expecting them to be a bit spicy since they’re usually spicy. Single tortillas and they were falling apart they’re usually doubled up. the soup to dip the tacos in was too liquidy and kind of tasteless.Overall i was pretty satisfied i can verify this is authentic mexican food because i’ve been eating it since i was little.The pricing was pretty good, 33 dollars for 6 birria tacos and 2 sodas. Im a big big BIG fan of Funchos and for 2 orders of birria tacos (6) its 34 dollars so much better! If you want good spicy birria tacos i recommend going to funchos you won’t be disappointed!
Very very very unfriendly service.cook made us seem like we were bothering him by ordering, the place was absolutely empty, you think they would be happy for the business. Tacos were just ok, flavorless. Go to Taco Island in Mt.Sinai and get real birria tacos.
The rudest service I have ever experienced, and sub par tacos. I will never be back, there are so many better places near by. Do not go.
Decided to try this place for lunch Capital D for delicious fresh tasty and best tacos I've had .chef is nice guy explained what his region's style was so I said make me 3 tacos you think represent Oaxaca. Like I said Delicious
This place is amazing, first time here and the food was absolutely amazing, very authentic and made to perfection. Service was fast and friendly, will be a regular here for sure. Cash only, but it’s worth that extra run to the bank!
