They were out of wings, the chicken was dry and not enough seasoning. The sweet potato pie was grainy and full of cinnamon. We asked for baked Macaroni and got Macaroni salad. We did not enjoy our food. And the customer service was crazy. I couldn't believe the things that was said. But the Macaroni salad was good and the cornbread was good too. But we won't be going back.
Fried chicken here is amazing. I recommend getting it dipped in their Bar-B-Q sauce. The crispy skin holds up to the sauce like captain crunch holds up to milk. Delicious! The kolard greens are excellent too.
Very good I really like the wings!! It's well worth it. I love the cook at this location she knows what she is doing!! Go check them out!
Can’t go wrong with spicys I even copped the sauce to put on everything. Better than kfc doh
Tastes good chicken was crispy the way I like it collard greens to much onions but I plucked them out the cook was friendly answering my questions about sauce I knew nothing about good food.
Ok yeah it's a dive and yeah most of the food is fried but omg is it good. We had the rib dinner and the chicken dinner. Both come w collard greens and Mac salad. My fiance got 10 wings and I got a small Mac and cheese. The shining star is their golden BBQ sauce. Fries and onion rings are good too
Food was good but service was even better. They forgot to give me the sides I ordered so I had to come back. When I got there, they were closed but someone who worked there (I think he was the owner) stopped me as he was getting ready to drive out of the parking lot. He said he remembered that they forgot my sides, he invited me in and gave me my sides PLUS extra. That’s good business in my book. So appreciated…and the food is GOOD!
Disgusting!!! Chicken was stale and full of feathers yes. Mac and cheese take like water and soft like mashed potatoes this is not soul food I REPEAT this is not soul food and the ribs has no flavor and barely any sauce Oh and let’s not forget about the greens they’re to die for literally!!The best thing I had from there was the bag I carried the food in its very strong.they should change the name to spice less!!!
Tasty, unfussy, and budget friendly eats. Workers are friendly and fast. Come for the entrees, stay for the sides.
