What a cool local place! Good prices and good portions to cool off with after a trip to the South Fork with kiddos.

Amazing flavors. The ice cream is outstanding. We drive out from Patchogue to enjoy it.AND our dogs love it too. They have this fantastic dog bone treat ice cream sandwich (vanilla ice cream between two large dog biscuits) that my dogs love.I highly recommend this place. Just amazing.
I am a local, the best way to describe Snowflake is if Ben and Jerry's was a mom & pop business. Their ice cream is home made and is by far the best ice cream I've ever had. They have their own unique flavors that only they make. If you are in the area I cannot recommend Snowflake enough. If you want healthy food before eating their ice cream, there is a great Mexican restaurant right next door.
Went here for my birthday and it was so good! I had the birthday cake which had actual cake in it. Highly recommend
There's always a line so that tells you something. Great ice cream, pleasant staff. Consistently coming up with interesting new flavors. We take anyone who visits us here, any excuse for snowflake!

We stopped by for ice cream while visiting in Riverhead. We knew it would be good when we saw the line wrapped around the building. It was worth the 15 minute wait to order. Excellent ice cream. The only reason I took a star off is it is very expensive. However, it's definitely worth it since we won't be able to visit very often.
We were craving for some ice cream after being in the area to see tulips at a nearby farm. Found this gem of a place, and decided to check it out. I’m glad we did!I with the reviews and ordered Peconic Swamp Thing (chocolate with raspberry bits) and Maple Walnut in a waffle cone. Loved the flavors - particularly the combination of flavors in Swamp Thing. Portions were large - next time I’m going with a baby sundae instead. Others in the party ordered shakes, cups, sundaes- everyone was super happy.Will make a point to stop by the next time we are in the Riverhead area!
