Fantastic food and service! The jerk chicken was fall off the bone tender and delicious. Perfectly cooked rice and peas and plantain. The owner was kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more!

I was on a mission for chicken wings, so we stopped in to Diggers. The atmosphere was friendly, our server Christian’s srvice was on point, and made the suggestion to also get the marinated steak medallions on our Caesar Salad. We ordered a dozen, and the chef allowed us to get half drums in the hot, and the other half flats in medium. They were delicious! The Caesar Salad was huge and topped with the steak medallions, which was generous. We also had a side of fries that were served wonderfully crispy. Love this place in downtown Riverhead!
Fried goat cheese ball appetizer was really good and I would go back just for that alone.The corned beef Ruben was dry and tasteless. That was disappointing.
Overpriced for average quality food. The carpet smells awful. It was the first thing we noticed when we walked into the area that we dined in (we knew it was the carpet because nobody else was in that sectioned off dining area). The staff is VERY NICE, attentive & polite. The staff deserves 5 stars! Restrooms were clean. Ambience is nice - antique style walls & ceiling with traditional antique wood trim throughout. If I purchased this restaurant, the 1st thing I'd do is rip up the filthy carpet. That would bring up the rating. It's difficult to enjoy your food when you've been waiting in an area that has an upappetizing odor.
Friendly and sweet staff.Food came out fast, hot and delicious. Restaurant was clean and pricing great.***if you have a seafood allergy be careful of what you order. They do fry regular food and seafood in the same fryer. Let the server know****
Diggers is never disappointing! The steak on the menu is perfectly seasoned and exceptionally tender. Everything is cooked to order and I am always happy with the food and service!

Good local var. Beer was cold. Food was good service was excellent. What more do you want
