I used to love Long John Silvers but this time really disappointed me ?. The lady at the counter was not very happy and nice that day. I get that it's difficult to "paint a smile on" when things could be wrong at home. Understood. Been there. But don't take it out on your customers. The second thing is that the fish that is normally great was very greasy and rubbery. Oh and it was really cold. The fries were the same. The only thing that was good was the Pepsi. They don't have cocktail sauce anymore and that's what I like on my fish. The tartar sauce was the absolute worst I have ever had. Talk about going down hill.I didn't say anything about it because I didn't want anything or anyone messing with my food. Hopefully the right person reads this and adjusts how they both prepare and hold the finished product.
It's been years since I've experienced the deep fried goodness of Long John Silver's. As often is the case, reality doesn't measure up to memories. The shrimp was good, but the fish was over cooked, and the fries seemed undercooked. In fairness, this could be due to the fact that this was a Taco Bell/LJS, and it was SWAMPED! We waited 20 minutes for our order, but I got the impression that Internet orders were taking much longer. For the most part the customers were being patient. Likewise, the employees were being polite. The one thing I would suggest is letting customers know the approximate wait time before ordering.
This place has really gone down hill.the staff was trying but need to listen better when someone places an order. At one point the girl doing the drive through started crying and walked off the job. The refreshment machine wasn't working properly either. I used to like long johns but that was my last visit
Food was good but I hate to say it but the service was not very good waited a long time for the food
It took over 30 minutes to get my food and it was very saturated with grease. I know it's fried food and it's greasy but this was too much. Some of my food sat on a shelf getting cold, where I was watching the staff preparing food and packing it up for people, the Taco Bell portion of my order had been handed to me at least 15 minutes before I got the Long John's part of the order.
Would have gotten 5 stars but they didn't have coleslaw and one order was missing other than that I wish long johns was closer to Albany
I live 5hrs from the closest long John Silver. I was so happy to run in to one out of town. 7:10pm No Fish No chicken. One of the dirtiest places I’ve ever seen. Service fit the setting. Run from this place. I did.
I needed food from both Taco bell and Long John Silver. The kiosk only has TB. So I stood at the counter while more people came in. After almost 10 minutes of watching everyone make food and NO ONE running the register, someone said - If you just want TB it'll be faster to use the kiosk. If you want fish, you'll have to keep waiting for someone to come take your order. I went outside and went through the drive through. I also got no sauces after I asked for some. I counted at least 7 employees making food and 2 outside smoking.
Came to get food at 12:18pm and they were “not open” yet so I had to sit through the drive Thur line for nothing because there was no other outlet. #infuriating
I love Long John Silvers! But I was very disappointed with tonights experience. Soda choices were limited to a few...most of which I'm thinking no one drinks. Our bag was tied shut so I could not check to make sure we received the correct order. When we opened our dinners we were presented with very soggy old fries and NO HUSH PUPPIES! Very disappointing to say the very least. But the fish & chicken were very good. I will take the time and hold up the line next time...if there is a next time?
