I went to Johnny Rockets when I went on vacation with my boyfriend. I have never had Johnny Rockets before, and he mentioned that he went there before and they had great food. So, since we were close to one, we decided to go. I hate to say it but that place has since gone down hill. When we arrived, the place was dead, the only people in there was us and the staff. Since the place was dead, we thought that the food might be pretty good, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. The food we ate ended up giving us both stomach aches, and I ended up throwing out the leftovers that I had. I normally do not complain about restaurants, but it was just an overall bad experience. I do want to say that the waiter was extremely nice, and wanted to provide an overall pleasant experience. But the food was just terrible, I personally would only go to Johnny Rockets for their shakes.
The waitress was nice. The food just wasn't good. My daughter and I couldn't even finish our meals. I ended up leaving hungry & nauseous. My kids and husband enjoyed the milkshakes though. This location is strange because it's connected to the Six Flags indoor Waterpark. There were people walking through the restaurant in their bathing suits.
Very let down for making us wait almost 1 hour without giving us our food! Went there yesterday after spending the day at the Great Escape and ordered our food and drinks. The drinks came about 20 minutes later and never got our food, even though I mentioned it was my son's birthday! We also were sweating because there's practically no AC. Went to Ambrosia Diner after and loved it.
First, I would like to say that the employees at this Johnny Rockets are beyond fantastic. Upon walking in I immediately was welcomed and even complemented on my hair and piercings. Two employees in particular were so sweet to me, and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and could possibly need for my order. I was having a very bad day, and they managed to lift my spirits, make me laugh, and put a smile on my face. Absolutely exceptional, keep up the amazing work. I two thousand percent reccomend coming here!!! ♡
Worst cheese fries EVER. Cheese wasn’t even melted like it definitely was just thrown in the microwave for 30 seconds. Soda was so nasty tasted watered down. Service was terrible-staff was just sitting around talking amongst themselves the whole time. 0/10 do not recommend at all!!!!!!!!!!
considering they are located below a busy and fully booked hotel i expected more. With any restaurant there is room for improvement. staffing and cleaning is this store weak point
The only reason I gave this 3 stars was because our waiter Kendall was so spectacular. We were so excited to see a Johnny Rockets here because of their "signature" tasty burgers that we all have enjoyed in the past at other locations... but we left calling this Jimmy Rockets.... Johnny's 3rd rate cousin. The food was utterly disappointing. So so bad. Seriously... B.a.d. Not to mention how long it took to get seated in a nearly empty restaurant while several employees were just milling about. Stay away!
The greeter at the door was not welcoming despite having tables she said it was a 15 minute wait. While waiting we watched a man come in and ask for a burger to go and she was rude and said we are serving breakfast and did not even offer the man the breakfast burger that was on the menu. Pros our waitress was nice and offered suggestions of things to do in the town.
Not quite as fun as it used to be....I remember back in the day when everyone who worked there was pretty much in character and danced around and whatnot. They're not really that way anymore. The food is still delicious though
4th of july 2021 our server was Gerry. First off we were sat in the hot sun, (this is important for later) Gerry got our drink orders and one of my friends needed to take medicine before eating and he was holding the pill when he had returned to give us our drinks. Made an absolute out of pocket comment about his medicine and trying to joke about it but it only made everyone uncomfortable. We were now uncomfortable and very hot from sitting in the sun and asked the host if we could move out of the sun. She moved us no problem, although upon Gerrys return to get our orders he made a comment about us “not being able to handle a little sun” after we had moved. At this point this was two uncomfortable comments but we had our order put in and decided to wait. Between our food coming out my friend needed to use the bathroom and on her way to the restroom she had crossed paths with our server where he then proceeded to be weird about her being inside to use the bathroom. While she was in the bathroom our food came out. Gerry then proceeded to try to talk to us about great escape but he just kind of talked to himself and at us vs to us and then kinda lingered way more than what was appropriate. And kinda stood near our table staring off in the distance at the great escape and it was just awkward. Moving onto the food. Disappointing, underwhelming and overpriced are the three words that best describe our meals. At the end I had payed with a 20$ bill on a 15$ bill. Gerry did not as if I wanted change and just kind of took the left over 5 without asking which for my bill would’ve been way over 20% if it was up to me I would have not tipped him at all. I usually pride myself on tipping well and just always tipping but this was just way beyond an unacceptable experience. Just go to McDonald’s. Trust just go to McDonald’s.
