Very friendly and accommodating staff. You get the feeling this is a family diner from the time you set foot in door. Food was served piping hot at once for everybody and was very good. Would definitely go back!

The food was delicious every thing was hot and first and be aware save room for those tasty desserts that eyeball you when entering the restaurant. A must try

Stopped here for breakfast before traveling back home. More then enough food. Desserts looked amazing. Good coffee. Friendly waitstaff!

Nice little diner right off the highway. Large assortment of menu items, so something for everyone. I ordered the meatloaf and the portion was enough for 2 meals. Clean and staff was nice. Such a nice alternative to fast food :)

Hostess Peggy was quick & treated me like family; Awesome. They had a wide variety of dishes from breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. My plate was plentiful and tasty. They honor the military with a discount. Clean, spacey and the bathroom was as clean & decorative. A must to visit even if passing through.

Nicolle was our server. We stayed in Queensbury for 3 days and our visit to the diner was so pleasant that we returned the second night for dinner and asked to be seated in Nicolles section again. She was pleasant, attentive and always quick to assist you. The beef dip was delicious as was the turkey club house sandwich and then the turkey dinner. Each meal was a huge serving that tasted like good home cooked meals. We were too full for dessert but i have never seen such a larve dessert serving. I would trecommend this diner and would return if ever in Queensbury again.

Great friendly service, they serve you generous portions, I only give four stars because they put onions in the home fries, the biscuits tasted as if they were frozen but still okay. My family not as picky as I am really enjoyed their meal.

This is a classic diner with great food. Right off the Adirondack northway. We have stopped for lunch special several times. Soups and desserts are all made in house and really delicious. Huge sandwiches, tasty fries. Friendly service.

If you are driving on hwy 87 North or South and you are hungry, take exit 19. right after exit you will see Ambrosia diner (cool looking replica of diners from NY City). When I live in the Big Apple many years ago I loved to go to have food at NY City diners. Food was always tasty, huge portions and you could have breakfast and lunch and dinner at any times. Well, Ambrosia diner reminded me of those diners of NY City. Menu was huge, portions huge and food was so yummy and memorable. At the butchers block section of the menu I founded broiled beef liver stake ( one of my childhood staple food ) wholly molly, you can't find that food anywhere. It was delicious. As a special item on the menu I got matzo ball soup (another NY city staple soup that you can't find any more in any restaurants). Next step desserts - they has so many from Napoleon to my favorite almond horseshoe. The food, the dessert, service and hospitality was over the top. I'm so happy that I finally visited Ambrosia. thank you so much, i will be back there soon. D

I like diners. They usually don't put on aires and serve a wide variety of dishes. This is a good one. Prompt, friendly service, good portions, decent prices in this time of merchants raising prices just to stay afloat. They don't have to because they are busy providing good meals and have people coming back. If I can't decide what to eat or where to go, and am tired of spending a bundle of time and money on dinner this is my fall-back place in the 'dacks.
