I have been going to Zayara for a while now and I can’t believe didn’t write a review for them. I love, love, love their falafel supreme sandwich. The best Falafel sandwich in New York. Yes, it’s not my very best falafel of my life, that was in Riyadh but, if you are looking for the best in New York you can’t beat Zyara. They also do good shawarma sandwiches and platters. I must highlight though that if you have a sit down lunch or dinner the presentation of the platters enhances the tastes 10 fold as compared to a pick up from them.

The inside space is a little too small for dine in, they do have an outdoor space that’s a little bigger. Their chicken Shawarma is probably the best shawarma I’ve had in NYC. I feel like the staff rushes you out the restaurant though, but hey it’s whatever, the food is absolutely delicious and that’s what matters. I would definitely go back, in fact, I have gone back multiple times. Highly recommended.PS it takes a long time to make the food, so order ahead of time or if you dine in go in with plenty of time.

So this place will charge you a service fee that is hidden and then ask what tip you would like to add. I get really annoyed when places do that. The service charge or 18% should really be disclosed to people before asking them for further tips so they can decide on their own. Also $1 for extra sauce on food that tastes bland without the sauce?? Makes 0 sense.Unfortunately the last couple of times I have went my chicken Adana was undercooked which is just the worst thing you can possibly do on top of all the other issues I’ve mentioned.Zyara needs to do better if they plan to stay in the shawarma game in NYC.

One of the best food for the money restaurants I have had in whole of NYC. We ordered three different platters each with 2 sides. Each if them tasted amazing. Fresh pita bread is served with the food. We tried Lamb adana , lamb kafta and shwarma , all were very good.Would recommend to everyone.

Delicious shawarma wraps everything is freshly made & well made! … on my top 3 must try in this neighborhood.

Great food and great service. Hard to get a table on Saturday night. My go to is the mixed grill platter. The chicken shawarma is great as well as the lamb kebab. The grilled chicken is very tender and juicy. THe price is fair for the quality and the portions that you receive. The place is very small though with only six tables. You'll be amazed at the great effort that they put in preparing and cooking the food in such a narrow kitchen (all of which is done in front of you). They have a touch screen menu in the front if you want to order anything to go. It makes it very convenient for those that don't want to be seated or in a rush.

It’s one of the best halal restaurants in this area. Their food tastes too good. But most of the time you will have to wait for a very long time to get the food. So it’s wise to order before you go over there. Also I faced this few times that they run out of food or I don’t know the server didn’t seem to care. He said unavailable to almost everything I mentioned from the menu. Also I didn’t like his service. So yeah I think they needed to balance their good food with bad service.

Food is okay and tasty but service is horrible!Waiter and serve guy shows attitude and very unfriendly. Doesn’t even know properly what menu they have or not !Very less space also inside of the restaurant!1 star for service2 stars for accommodation4 stars for food

The stuff are very kind and welcoming, the shawarma was good. However I gave 4 stars because the French fries was not that good and tasted an old oil. But all the rest was.good.
