The decor of this place is something out of another era, a mix of old German with whimsical touches throughout. The lighting highlights these touches and there are plenty of booths to give you a touch of privacy to appreciate the ambiance.The food itself was impeccable, tasty, and came out quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.Parking is hit and miss, you might need to circle for awhile to secure a spot.If you're looking for great German food you've found the right place!

Recently came back to Zum Stammtisch with family for some indoor dinner. While we have done take out since the COVID lockdown, this was the first time we have dined in some time. The place has not missed a beat and the food is still AWESOME!!
Lovely service, generous portions, some very traditional choices, and nice atmosphere. Restaurant was full, with the Stammtisch crowd in the back room as well. Try the chocolate ice cream with Eierlikoer for dessert... Hard to find in the US unless you make it yourself.
Good food and friendly service. The pretzel and vings were good and beer was good too. The portions were huge so if you want to finish your entree, you might want to just order one appetizer. The pork nuckle was freaking good.
One of my favorite spots in Queens. Amazing authentic German Cuisine. Hands down the best within the city limits. Tell your friends and neighbors the place is aces...
A group of 17 of us had dinner at your restaurant on Sunday night. Every single last dish was delicious. We were a late group that came in at 8 o’clock and you were all very accommodating, very fast but most importantly the food was delicious. Thank you again for the outstanding service.
