This is my sons 3rd time. He loves it. He already said he is not sharing with me. The culinary skills they learn are age based ranged. Very professional and helpful.
I had my sons 10th Birthday here. From start to finish it was The Best experience ever!!!!Chef/Owner Chris was so helpful and offered different packages that we could choose from. The birthday was so organized and entertaining as well as a learning experience for the kids. They had a blast! There were 2 chefs snd a staff of 5 who looked after the kids and cleaned and oversaw my dropoff party..The place is spotless with an elevator and 2 bathrooms. Generous gift bags/backpacks with a voucher for a free class.Forest Hills Young Chefs Academy is a wonderful place for your party!!!!!!The parents contacted me to tell me how much their kids enjoyed the party and are so helpful at home during meals.Follow up. They are at a new location.
Very nice, clean and open space. Friendly staff and works well with children.
Took my daughter to participate in "The Secret Ingredient to Holiday Success" class, and it was fantastic! Within 2 hours, four delicious dishes were made by the kids, safely (masks on and socially distancing) and smoothly -- chef Victoria and the assistants were charismatic and very experienced working with kids. The new location is very convenient for dropping off -- on the first floor and the owner and staff are there to meet kids at the door. There are street parking available.During the pandemic, it is wonderful that kids can participate in such fun cooking activities safely, be away from computer screens for a few hours - healthy for their social and emotional well-being. Thank you Young Chef Academy!
My daughter took “secret ingredient” Mexico food workshop last Saturday and had a wonderful time there. I am very impressed by the owner’s attention to details and instructor’s professionalism. The place is brand new, very clean with all the health protocols in place. The class is designed and delivered specifically tailored to kids skill level, but still using “serious” full-bloom recipes. My 12 year old daughter made three veggie dishes and chocolate quinoa cupcake with two other team members, everyone got plenty hands-on opportunities to measure, chop, mix, and bake; and most importantly she also learned to work withina team, to articulate problems and ask questions to instructor. I definitely think the skills developed in the course are beyond just cooking.I like the fact this is children’s cooking school without childishness. My kid learned to appreciate food, people, and culture. During COVID period, it’s hard to find good kids program to engage kids and let them break from screen time, I am glad I finally find one.
Great place for young chefs! Engaging classes bringing out creativity, while learning culinary skills.
just giving a good review becuse it is a good deid
Can't wait for YCA to reopen!
I hold my son’s birthday party there and it was very good. The chef and staff are super friendly, helpful and nice. My son and his friends had a great time. They enjoyed the pizza that they made from the party. Good job chef Sam and chef Chris
Amazing place!! I've looked around for other places before signing up my son and I didn't find any place that comes close to the professionalism and astounding customer service Young Chefs Academy provides to there future and current clients. The kindness and attention you receive is astounding.... from beginning, the first phone call you make to inquire about there program, to the middle, meeting the owner Chris, Chef Sam and support staff, to the end, saying goodbye, discussing recipes and greeting parents. I can't say enough phenomenal things about YCA. My son loves it and has been attending for almost 2 years.
