First of all their rice balls are really delicious however it’s better to stick with a small one then getting a large one. I got a large crawfish and it barely had any crawfish in it and it was mostly seaweed. And their bubble teas really does not taste good, it’s always very watery with sweet syrup in it. I have never tasted any tea in them.
Firs time trying yaya tea. The rice balls and pork gyoza were amazing! I got a green tea passion fruit with 100% sugar and reg ice but it tasted watered down and not sweet at all, nonetheless the staff were amazing. Please give the staff that worked the afternoon shift on 6/17 a raise! It was obvious that they were overwhelmed with orders but they kept a smile on their face the whole time. There was a bit of a longer wait but I didn’t mind due to how friendly and apologetic they were. First time and won’t be my last.
Very cozy, music is nice, employees are kind, would reccomend the "I love Yaya" tea with lychee. Definitely a good place to hang out with friends or just relax during the quiet hours.
The best bubble tea and riceball
Please work on consistency! I come to this location when ever I'm in the area which is once in a while. I've been to the Brooklyn and Manhattan location numoerous times and even met the owner in the brooklyn location. This is not my 1st time coming to this location and I have to be honest I am very disappointed. 4//28/22 I order 8 michael jackson bubble teas 6 large and 2 small with an order of pork gyoza. The gyoza was amazing. The bubble tea, evrery single one of them taste like water and a hint of tea. IMy order came out to approximately $50. Now I'm not complainng about the price because when I come to any of the location I buy a large order for my family because they like the tea also but this time was very disappinting because I spent about $50 for my order to be messed up. The tea literally taste like water and. there was no syrup in drink, if there was it was very minimal also the pop mango wasn't the ususal amount, seemed like i got one scoop instead of two.. I'm not sure if the tea was brewed watered down or if the person making the drink put a cup full of ice for each before pouring the tea. Either way I was very upset. In any event whoever made my tea may need additional training on making the drinks. This is the first time I've had this issue and I hope this is the last, I actually enjoy the Yaya Tea franchise, that is the only bubble tea I drink and I want to continue supporting this business. I will update the rating the next time I return to location.
This place is usually my go to spot for Bubble Tea in Queens. I usually get the mango lychee white tea (it has a name, I just refuse to call it by that). Staff is very friendly and always quick with it too quick is nice. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura rice balls, a 10/10 for me.
Really good variety of fruit teas, love the shrimp + crab rice balls. Also many choices for toppings like popping bubbles lychee and mango flavors, tapioca, aloe..etc. Check out their “secret” menu for more selection on their fruit teas.
Onigiri was highly filling. However could be better. The price is minimum $3 so understand that despite what you read online. There is also ft he issue of ordering over the phone. You must be extra careful they don't add extra food by not listening to your order and charge you more money because of it.
Worst ever onigiri wraps ever. See the scotch tape used for keeping the wrap in place. Needless to say they whole thing fell apart once I started unwrapping. ??
been coming here since it opened. went back recently after a few months away. got a oolong milk tea and a jasmine milk tea with bubbles. oolong had a weird aftertaste as well as tasting watery. jasmine was watery and the bubbles were hard and tasted like they were from the day before. thats the last time im coming here lol
