I placed an order online for a large pie and garlic knots and selected curbside pickup because it was an option and I'd rather limit my exposure. I first receive a text that says the order will be ready in roughly 15-20 minutes, then another a couple minutes later saying we're busier than expected, this is your new estimated time, roughly 20-30 minutes. About 10 minutes later, I get a text saying the food is ready. I get to the place, park at the curb directly outside the building, and follow the directions in the order confirmation which says to call when I'm outside. I call. An older man picks up, I can confirm that because I can see directly into the store. I tell the man I'm outside. He confirms it's ready, asks can I come in. I reiterate that I selected curbside because I'd rather not. He tells me to give him a few minutes. I watch through the window as the store empties, and there are no customers at least two times. I was outside for 10 minutes waiting as 4 employees were standing around, waiting for customers to come. Still no one brings my food, I grow impatient and go in. I tell them I'm watching as the store empties, my car is right outside. "You told me it was ready. This is my first time coming here and not only did you not honor the curbside, you still aren't coming." Long story sure, his reasoning for not coming out is the garlic knots weren't ready ? and the curbside isn't supposed to be there anymore because the pandemic is over. I said, why didn't you remove it then? No response. I finally get the food and leave. So here is my review of the food. Garlic knots were somewhat hard and oily was hell. GOT NO marinara sauce. Pizza had classic taste but the dough was too tough. Should not have to become a pitbull to make a clean break

Goood NYC pizza!! Their Sicilian slices are the most popular, but you could never go wrong with a simple plain slice. I highly recommend eating there at the pizzeria- it tastes the best right out of the oven!

Started eating their Sicilian pizza back in the 70s when I lived in Bayside. Whenever I am in the area I stop for more. It's still as good as it was years ago although the faces and decor have changed. Can't wait for next visit

I don’t know if this was a fluke, but I just ate the driest chicken roll from here. The pizzas look good on display though. But the chicken roll was so dry. The tips of the chicken roll was impossible to chew. The chicken was so dry it was shiny and brown. All the sauce in the world couldn’t save that thing.Maybe I got an old batch?

On our way to see Tool , we stopped for a few slices and we were not disappointed. Staff welcomed some new faces with delicious pizza. We just went with regular slices, they have so much more than that. Definitely check out VIP Pizza.

My go to pizza spot on bell. Best grandma slice I have ever tried and that is my usual go to order. Very well priced. Good indoor seating. Friendly staff. No complaints.

Small slice for $3, but good taste.Very good sauce, good amount of cheese with good coverageThin, chewy/crispy crust with a good flavor.Rating this one at 94; subtracting points for size.

Best pizza in the Bayside/Flushing area ngl. Super friendly staff, pizza always on point.

Great neighboorhood pizzaria! The pizzas are excellent my favorites are the grandma, regular and spicy chicken. My parents used me bring home pizza since I was a kid and now I am bringing to my kids. I would rate the grandma an 8.0 and the regular slice a 7.5. I love the NY sports memorabilia that they have displayed all around the store.

Lived in Bayside many moons ago, when I was in town last week I seen VIP still open for business. When I lived there I had ordered many a meal from there and always got good fresh tasty meals,So I stopped in for a couple of slices and still better than your average pizza place, piled high mushrooms and thinly sliced sausage....yum!
