Overpriced and lacking in terms of quality - price to taste ratio
This place is simply the best for its Indian street food, the people are very courteous and offer excellent service. Best Samosa Chat and Dahi Puri in whole of New York.
I've been coming here for several years, and every single time I come, I am always blown away by the food. The samosas and the Bombay Sandwich is golden! I love all of the Indian sweets too. The staff is even sweeter though, they're always friendly and kind. Overall, this is my favorite restaurant of all time. I recommend it to anyone!

I came in today and I buy a lot from you and the services just getting worse and worst I don’t know if it’s just for me maybe I am not one of those people that are not part of your group but it is not a good feeling to be treated this way. For years I’ve been coming here but no for the food that I order the chutneys are not given and when the woman that put the order will just say that they are there and they are not if this is the way I will stop coming if giving a customer a chutney is such a great deal. Remember kindness goes a long way.
One of my acquaintances took me here.The vegetarian Thali allows you to pick your veg options. I had paneer, kadhi, and bhaji. Everything was delicious.Yogurt was sweet (not my cup of tea). Sambar Vadha is too good.Overall, a great place to find a wide variety of Indian cuisine that will not disappoint you.
Let me be straightforward and honest with you: I've been going here ever since they opened up. They've definitely downsized on portions for a higher price. Food was definitely old and disgusting. The aunty ji older in age working at the register is very rude and doesn't care about the customer. I think this place has become overrated.
Usha is amazing. I feel so lucky to have this delicious place so relatively close. The dahi puri is my fave, as are the dosas and chole bhature. Last time I ate here I was having a bad day and this meal genuinely lifted my mood. My photos are not the best because we were all very hungry and did not wait to dig in. If you have not been here to have their chaats, you are missing out.
Yes I agree, erroneously got marked one star. Enjoyed the chat, dahi vada is very delicious. Masala Dosa is also nice. But the Medu wada was not made immediately so were terrible. The variety of food though is amazing and your staff are fantastic. Rate the Chat counter & staff 5 stars.
