Really delicious! Took about 10 minutes for our order of two corn dogs.
After a family outing to Korean BBQ around the corner, we wanted to conclude our evening with bubble tea. We arrived into the store at 8:02 and were denied service. Although this may seem fair, we entered immediately after a group of kids entered. The man behind the counter said that the location is closed and that we had to leave. My son held the door open for the group of kids that entered before us and the guy said that they can stay. They also entered the location after 8:00 so why were we told to leave but not them? Could this be a racial matter?
Good place to get your hands and face sticky.Interesting Korean street food limited to some wildly creative corn dogs and donuts.Take out only.Order ahead.
Needs improvement! half of the time the donuts turn out bad inedible goes to the trash because the dough had too much yeast and all I can taste is salty bitter yeast flavor. It’s like a gamble almost.
I love that the Koreans have brought their revolutionised corn dog to usa, but it definitely is not the same level as the street vendors you get in places like myeongdong, hongdae or other areas in Seoul. Regardless it has proven to be super popular with crowds, especially youngster gen Z crowd here.Pricing is a little ambitious but this might be reflective of the current inflation. Presentation is neat and food is fresh. When it comes to the corn dogs themselves, the ratio of cheese to meat is way off. I recommend getting a thicker sausage and reduce the cheese by at least 30%. Yes the nature of this indulgent treat is oily but it's overwhelming in it's current state because the corn dog is also deep fried. Do not eat if you have heart problems or issues with high triglycerides =.="The donuts have a really nice, pleasant texture. While I love that they tried to make /injeolmi powder a dipping condiment, it was terrible and didn't pair well with the donuts. Maybe find a way to encrust the donuts in it or use it as a glaze? As to comments at other locations about the staff not being trained properly and being unorganised, I personally had a prompt fulfilment through UberEats for this location, so in my books they're doing well in that department. The eatery is still fairly new to the scene so I think once a few minor issues are figured out, these guys can be very successful.
I first heard about this place when my brother brought home the donuts. I loved the donuts so much…it’s soft, chewy, and airy….that I had to find this spot the next day. I tried the corn dogs and I’m glad I did. I recommend getting the potato’s on your corn dog, it’s a great addition. You have many options to cater to your pallet.
I ordered two plain mozzarella dogs and one half hot dog and half mozzarella dog with panko. I also ordered two plain donuts and one cinnamon sugar donut. Everything was made fresh, and wasn't greasy.
The place is quite small (designed for takeout). You have to order from a kiosk (not the human behind the counter), and you also pay at the kiosk as well. You CAN eat there, but there's only a tiny counter (fits only two people) with no chairs or seats; standing only. Basically, plan for takeout. There were signs stating delivery options (via GrubHub), so there's that option as well. I tried the Mexican-style corn dog, and it was pretty good, honestly. I'll probably try a few other things next time.
Pretty good! I’ve never had such fresh tasting donuts before. The dough itself is chewy, soft and airy. The original ugnut is the best (without the cinnamon). It’s simple and dangerously addicting.I prefer the classic American ugdog over the pizza ugdog; it’s just melted mozzarella instead of a sausage.Staff seemed friendly. The wait was a bit long since it’s made to order (which is what makes it taste so fresh).
Ordered half a dozen Ugnuts and placed them on hubbies lap for short trip home. This is what was left after 10 min ride. Our first sampling of this Korean street food joint. Wait was at least 15 min, the waiting area was crowded but I would expect that. You step up to kiosk to place your order yourself and then wait for it to be made. The only reason they did not get 5 stars was, as good as the Ugnuts tasted, all warm and coated with sugar, I felt they could have been cooked longer. Slightly underdone and not risen enough made for a limp, doughy product. BUT I am so glad they moved in to my hood! Will definitely go back to try the "dog" and their specialty items. Only entrance is on the street side even though their is ample parking in lot behind the numerous stores that line the intersection. Shortcut your way through the other stores that have 2 entrances. Wear your mask folks!
