This was an excellent establishment! Great food and drinks and the welcoming energy was beautiful. 5 star well deserved!!
Tropix Bar and Lounge on Queens Blvd is a great spot located conveniently accross tons of shopping centers. The food is great, the drinks are even better, the staff is friendly and there is happy hour going on everyday!!! Check this place out, the music and karaoke had us there a lot longer than we expected! So fun? 5 stars!!
Decent drinks. However I did not like the food. On the particular Tuesday I went there were no tacos; so I ordered empanadas instead. I ordered a mix of cheese, chicken and Cuban. Unfortunately the food was bland. No flavor at all. Even the dipping sauces were mediocre. The red sauce was more like marinara and the avocado sauce was so faint. I would not come here again.
We had a great night. The only thing was they did not have hookah but overall Dj is on point especially when you request a song. Best of all they had karaoke which we enjoyed doing since it was our first time there and first time doing karaoke. The drinks were good too. Love the vibe!!!
I was there last night with my wife her friend and my sister-in-law and it was a very bad experience - first of all we ordered Long Island iced teas and it was basically a cup of syrup with a lot of ice no alcohol in the drink at all - then we ordered four shots and basically got half of a shot - the DJ was whack kept cutting the music not letting the song play long enough just mixing on top of mixing on top of mixing horrible. Definitely not the Tropix pre-covid. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Drinks are pretty good food as well, but the whole idea of having a large audience and charging credit card fees for a bill which was over 100 bucks didn't suit me. lots of other bars in the vicinity, but definitely worth trying for their frozen drink specials. fyi you will be charged a credit card fee for using your credit card. which needs to change if customers are spending over 100.asked me for my ID i gave it to one of the bartenders. the person didnt count and then said i was under age smh. What?
Tropix is a Must to go bar. First the staff is extremely friendly, and the foodnl is ridiculously good. I recommend the steak and their wings! Amaziiing!
Happy hour till 7 … boneless wings are fire…. Starting in 202 they have a Monday wing special.
Had a nice time here, Gary the manager offer my friend and me a shot and we had a nice conversation with him. Cool guy. The sandwich I had very good as well. Mini chimi!!
