I tried food from here today and the food is good and tasty. Just the right amount of spice. The doubles are oily. I guess if not oily it would be dry but would be nice if they find a happy medium. The oil just seaps through the wrapper. Ask for extra napkins.Another very odd thing is that I didn't see any menu board or even pieces of paper with pricing when I walked in. How is a customer supposed to know what you serve? I suppose if you are a regular, you know what to get, but as a first time customer, it wasn't helpful and very confusing. On top of that I had to repeat my order a few times because the lady did not understand me or my lack of Trini accent. When I was paying I saw the print out of the menu. See posted pics. I hope someone finds it helpful, until the prices or items change anyway.I'll be back here because it's convenient off the A line and food tastes good and the price is reasonable, but will be more prepared next time. Maybe I'll even learn the Trini accent. ?

Dishonest food place. They are sneaky with the cashier process, been noticing since they renovated the past couple years, a confusing total that doesn’t make sense even with taxes. Leave there feeling ripped off. but usually too there busy to complain or shy . Today noticed No prices displayed anywhere you have to ask. They you see the cashier ringing up quickly for example 8:50+5+ 3:50 which was what i got. The total was $21.77! (should be like $19 max after taxes ny state) Which made no sense on any tax scale, didn’t care argue. If you ask for a receipt you’ll see if you can get one lol. They can’t even explain the total. Forget also mostly getting bone and pieces like chicken back in your food, the servers are scared to even serve fairly, Act like it’s soup Kitchen and it’s free. They saving those pieces for the boss and their lunch. I’ll be emailing the BBB about the checkout total and taxes. The food at trinidelite is tasty though and a good variety But Many other good and honest food places in the area Singh ,Silvia’s Trinciti also but that’s usually crowded. Don’t believe me? go Trinidelite and buy some dishes see what the cashier tells you is the final total .

I love their food although I am a bit upset that I had to pay 25c for a plate

We were at first very excited to come to this shop but the experience was horrible and unprofessional. We will not return! Due to severe allergies I requested that the serving worker change her gloves, I received a very nasty glare and was told its just item on the glove. I insisted and them she changed her gloves. Workers here need to be trained on the importance of respecting customers with allergies as some are life threatening! Also, as we were new I was looking trying to decide the next meal and the serving worker said loudly "IS THAT ALL BECAUSE I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE". This was very unprofessional and a horrible experience at Trini Delight. I was told that everyone there is Guyanese when I asked for channa in my aloo pie. Instead of happily giving me my order I had to hear how some get their pies etc and then that they are all Guyanese. It should not matter where they are all from, the customer at all times should be treated with respect. A very terrible experience especially when you are with your Senior Citizen mother. To the owners, please re-train you staff, you will loose customers.

Worse management team. Bought a pan of curry which was sour. Everything else was ok but the management team did nothing to rectify the situation. There are alot more restaurants in queens where you can get better food without being sick.

the foo is so perfect perfect place to eat at for lunch???☺

I love my Trini food but when I went here my doubles was so thin I was like who going to eat this I spend $91 on 12 doubles that was supposed to be $1.50 each people do the math I ordered two plates one plate oxtail mac and cheese with rice that shouldn't have came up to no 34 I got the menu and I looked over what I ordered it should have never totaled up to 91 be very careful ordering from here the lady's behind the counter do not know how to do their math they will overcharge you and when you go all the way home you're not going to want to come all the way back up be very careful using your credit card

For 2022 the food quality has decreased while the prices seem to increase. May start going Trinciti. My curry was so oily and undercooked, will only go there for doubles

Clean ..lots of variety of west Indian hot food and snacks.Stuff is very pricey there. U can everything cheaper right around the area.Bought two Doubles there on 2/14/22...paid 3.28 with taxes ..yes they tax doubles on top of charging a higher price.??????U can get anything u want in the area alot cheaper than here with equal or better quality.

The food here is horrible the lady was rude the serve jerk chicken and fry chicken is the same .Also the food is loaded with MSG
