Great experience, from the food to dessert! Thanks Chef Rocco!

My family and I really enjoyed our meal. It’s rare that we all love our food and rave about it after! The pasta was so fresh and flavorful. You can tell it’s all homemade, nothing like what you get from other Italian restaurants that make it seem like they are authentic. I really appreciated the service, the staff was very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!

The food is outstanding - service solid and wine list strong

Service was impeccable. (Edwin). Food consistently superb. Active vibe. The mussels were delectable. Veal Parm, Grilled Salmon luscious. The manager Carlos is the best.

Amazing staff, great food

The quality of the food was above expectation and exceeded the prices. Rocco was a gracious host as he left the kitchen to visit all the tables. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for quality Italian cuisine.

I have walked past this place so many times in Astoria without realizing it's a top notch Italian restaurant. It wasn't until I saw the video clip of the restaurant owner dining outside in a blizzard that went viral that I became curious about this place. We decided to pop in without a reservation one Saturday evening and holy smokes - it was packed. Clearly this place is loved. We couldn't get a table that night, but we made a reservation a couple of weeks later. The service is very welcoming and attentive, and rattled off a list of at what had to be a dozen specials of the day that weren't on the menu that all sounded delicious. But we had already settled on our choices. I went with a homemade pasta in vodka sauce, it was delicious. My partner had the eggplant parm and it looked phenomenal. Of course there was also lots of warm bread and olive oil, and the drinks were good and fairly priced. The atmosphere is warm and cozy here. The price here very much matches the quality. If you're looking for a date night that won't break the bank but will leave you very satisfied, this is a great spot that might be right down the street from you already.

I want to be as fair as possible because I have a restaurant background as a cook (not a chef), a waitress, a bartender, a caterer, and a customer. We went as a group to this establishment, and the place is a big open space, beautiful, and clean. The mushroom risotto was the best I ever had. It was very creamy with just the right bite. The fried calamari was fried and seasoned perfectly. So I was excited about the main course. I ordered Shrimp Parmigiana in vodka sauce which is not on the menu, but the manager assured me it was okay. I hesitated several times because my experience in the restaurant industry has taught me that chefs don't like to take requests for many valid reasons, including it being a time issue which I understand; however, I went with the manager’s persistence. The shrimps were overcooked by a lot. The cheese was overheated, causing it to be a hard clump. There was little to no vodka sauce, and it sat in a pool of oil. It wasn't edible. The chef/cook should not be okay with that dish leaving their kitchen. It should have been removed from the bill when it was brought back to the kitchen or redone. The fresh rigatoni, which was a special that day, had the taste and texture of clay. I left the restaurant starving. I think 2.5 stars is fair, but 2.0 is too low, and this is why I chose 3 stars. Just one person's experience, maybe an off day for the cook/chef.

Absolutely delicious. Rocco does Pasta Divine in every meal. & his restaurant is beautiful & service is impeccable. Philly loves Rocco & his Team!
