Our family hosted a repast at Thomasina's on April 23. Tony worked with our family to make sure that everyone's needs were met. He patiently worked with us through multiple changes that were made to their repast package. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. On behalf of The Braithwaite family, Thank you Tony and your wonderful staff for bringing some ease to the painful process of saying goodbye to our Beloved Derek.
I almost NEVER post comments, however I had to post this. It was a sad occassion but great experience. Service was amazing. Staff were friendly, courteous, respectful and accommodating. Food was delicious and filling. Thanks Thomasina
I liked that they were on top of their COVID restrictions. Chairs were spaced out and didn't feel as if anyone was on top of another person.I didn't like that I asked the manager for a takeout container because I needed to step out and he told me they didn't have any. He didn't know I was one of the hosts and then turned around and gave my sister food in the containers he told me they didn't have. I addressed the situation at that moment, but honestly goes a long way when doing business. There was another issue a guest had, but that was also addressed with management and they apologized.Outside of that, we were pleased. Everything seemed cleaned and I think with what they're dealing with under the circumstances with the pandemic, I would consider hosting another event there.The hospitality over the phone when I inquired about something was excellent.
The staff were very friendly, from entering to serving our food to leaving. We were there for a funeral repast. The food was good. The decor is a outdated, but other than that, no complaints.

Went to Thomasina's for Brunch and was glad to see they were COVID protected and the food was served by servers behind plexiglass. The food was delicious. The oxtail waa so tender, the chicken delicious as well as the collard greens, corn, rice and peas, mac and cheese, etc. I tried to taste a little of everything except the fish which I am allergic to however my friends informed me it was delicious. It looked good though.You get option of green salad as well as potato and macaroni salad. And of course top it off with lemon or pound cake. To wash it down you had options of drinks.While enjoying my food, there was live music as well as well as recorded music. If you love music from the 60s through the 80s then this is the place to be. I was singing and dancing and would have stayed longer but it was time to go. Definitely will go back!
