Cool atmosphere, delicious burgers and wings and the seasonal draft beers were really good. Waiters were very attentive and friendly as well. We were in that part of NY for our daughters performance. Not sure if we'll be in that area again anytime soon but if so we will definitely be back. Very nice experience.
Would i come back here? No.Definitely not if I'm hungry. ewBurger was more like a sloppy joe with a bun not able to handle a sloppy joe.And the beer was basically half foam.In order to still serve "wings" and keep prices low; they serve 3 large dumb sticks with sauce for $12.They should just do chicken nuggies.Blah. This place is blah. And it's a lot smaller than you would think. Come for a drink or two with a friend to catch up. But that's it.
Great spot to grab after work drinks and a few wings to go with it. I’m surprised there are no happy hour specials since the drinks and wings are in the pricier side for the quantity given but they were still good nonetheless. They do have a wide option of wing flavors so I’m looking forward to trying out a few more.
I am extremely surprised that this place doesn’t have a low rating on their reviews. They check vaccine cards at the door. The decor was cool. The food lacked flavor and had very little variety in their menu. They don’t have chicken wings, instead they give chicken legs. (Tough times, I get it) The food was burnt, even the burger bun was burnt. Half of the food was burnt, except for the chicken, which was a little raw on the inside. The beers weren’t anything special and they were warm. The sauce for the churros was really good. Too bad the churros were burnt. The prices were reasonable. The staff was nice but the service was subpar. When you walk out just beware of the step. (There needs to be a sign there.) With plenty of options in the neighborhood, we won’t come back. I have been to many restaurants and this one won’t last because the owner gives any bad review that is listed, extremely rude and disrespectful comments, as opposed to learning from them to improve his restaurant. This is a real review!
Woodsy, Eclectic, Feel like your entering the Huntresses Den…great selection of Whiskey, Bourbon, Beer - Great Wings and Burgers and interesting Appetizers - off the side streets in LIC - a great find.
Great food, great drinks, great vibe. The decor definitely makes it stands out from other bars and both the food and cocktail menus are full of interesting concepts. My personal favorite burger is the Lola, it’s delicious. While I haven’t tried everything on the menu, everything I have had has been great. As for cocktails, I highly recommend Teatime, Smokeshow and Apple Pie. Really good and creative drinks.
Used to order spicy WINGS all the time from Huntress pre-pandemic. These wings aren’t what they used to be. Got dried chicken legs without much flavor and no fried battering.
This place is great. Good food, friendly staff, cozy vibe. Bartenders have good vibes and are easy on the eyes if I do say so myself...Near Brooklyn Boulders so you can fuel up after/before a climb. I dig their sister place The Baroness too!
A great local bar with amazing food. And the crowd is awesome. Some of the best regulars ever to exist.
My friend and I stopped here on halloween and they had karaoke night going on, super good energy but the service was terrible. when we walked in no one was there to check our vax and we just sat down hoping someone was going to come greet us. we managed to get a bartender's attention which he looked annoyed to begin with and when we asked if we could have a table wiped down, it seemed like a big deal. a little dissapointed that they no longer have wings but just large drumsticks like medieval times. the food was about as good as bar food gets. we waited like 30+ minutes for the bill, because either the staff was mingling with other guests or we were told the server was off the clock while still hanging around the restaurant, how does this make sense? it would've been a better experience if we had attentive service.
