The best rice and beans ever.....the nicest and cleanest spot to have a great meal. My hubby brings home empandas and wanted to try in person. The people are extra nice and the food was delicious. It was well seasoned, great portions and worth the money. This is my spot for Columbian food. Sometimes a little spot has the biggest impact. Thank you!!
Love this spot. Little morsels of goodness called empanadas. They have 2 types. Corn and flour. They are filled with more than 30 varieties of meats, Vegetables and cheese. Sweet or savory. A great opportunity to try something new for those picky eaters. Plan for take out. No indoor seating
THE guy that works there everytime I go there HE is rude and gives me attitude. And the last time I went there I saw that my empanada had a hole in it
The empanadas I wasn't impressed with the paisa platter the food seemed and tasted old. And thier beans didn't look apeziting.
Me and my daughter loved the empanadas in this place , specially the crab & shrimp one , they have whole wheat empanadas that makes it even better .
I did an uber eats order. Vegetables empanadas were stale! They tasted gross & really were not fresh. I'll NEVER order from here ever again. Really disappointed! I'll only eat from empanada mama on Queens Blvd from now on. I really had high hopes for them. Guess the negative reviews are accurate. Thankfully I got reimbursed by UberEats.
Best empanadas in the neighborhood. Great selection of different types of empanadas and I think I've tried all of them. Good place to get your fix and never disappoints. Small restaurant, but quick and efficient with great price and value. The staff and service have always been friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.
I heard good things about this place and since it is closer to my home then empanada mama I decided to give it a try. I tried 8 empanadas total, didn’t really have a stand out or think anyone was a home run. The meat in a lot of them is dry or not flavored good, and the cheese choices were not good. My favorite ended up being the Greek. Normally I love the Hawaiian ones but the pineapple in these tastes candied. Not for me.
Huge empanada Fan, tried this place before I moved into the area, now that I live close, I will definitely be a fan. Great empanadas.
Ordered 2 Beef and 2 chicken (corn) empanadas were delicious. Medium spice sauce was great. Fresh baked. Didn't know about the value lunch (4 emps & soda) so only ordered the emps. They did not offer me the value meal. Food still good though.
