Will be comparing to Pho Best III (5 min drive down Broadway; away from Roosevelt Ave )TL;DR Portion sizes are small and quality is not worth the price difference to Pho Best IMO.We ordered takeout for 2x #1 Pho's and 2x pork chop rices and the total was $47.Pork chop rice is pre cut and what you get in your order is equivalent to one of the 2 or 3 slices of pork you get at Pho Best III.Pho came in a rice box with the meat - the quart is for size comparison and there's at minimum an inch of free space. We also only got one serving of bean sprouts/sauce for our two pho (should have checked before hand but it's fine). Soup base is better, but not worth the price difference IMO.Used to come here often when Pho Bac burnt down and before Pho Best III opened up; Thai Son isn't what I remembered it to be. Will continue to be a patron of Pho Best.

As soon as I took my first sip of the #6 (eye round steak pho) I totally forgot to take photos of the dishes. My favorite dish is pho and I’ve tried it all over but this place has to have one of the best broths i’ve ever tasted!! 10/10. The customer service was wonderful and quick! Highly recommend. All I managed to take a picture of was the fresh basil and bean sprouts!

Wonderful! Great summer roll and pho. This is now part of my route to LGA. #7 with great above ground views, then a feast here. Finally, the bus onward.

Best Vietnamese food in the area!!! Highly recommend to all. I think it’s cash only

Great place to eat. Not too far from the subway or LIRR.

I love the pho and the shrimp summer rolls but service wasn’t the best. They were kinda rude and didn’t pay attention but overall it was good

I grew up in a Vietnamese neighborhood in Houston, NYC viet food just didn’t do it for me until I came here. Now our entire family comes here when we crave viet food. We’ve had the pho, fried rolls, summer rolls, pork and beef vermicelli and it’s always a hit. Their coconut juice is also one of my faves here. We’ve never had an issue with customer service.

What a gem in Jackson Heights. This might be the only Vietnamese restaurant that is just so close to the Broadway / Roosevelt train it’s a staple of the neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and the menu is vast and reasonably priced. I’ve come here in groups, solo and it’s always a great meal. Thank you Thai Son for always bending a reliable place for lunch / dinner!

Their #1 is the best!

After eating at the other Vietnamese spots in the area, I can confidently say Thai Son is my favorite! The flavors of the pho broth are delicious and the portions are generous. I also tasted the pork wraps and they were so good. The ambiance is great too. Would recommend!
