Someone recommended this place to me because I love spicy food & I look for halal places. I was bored with my typical desi food. So on my way to Jackson heights I went to try it out. It’s a small & simple store! But very clean tho. Food was really good, I tried Thai soup & fried wonton . Loved the soup. Ordered takeout for my kid beef lomain & beef sizzler. It took me a while to go home, and when I give it to my son he didn’t like none ! It could be that it was not fresh, some food do taste better fresh. After microwave some just don’t taste the same ! Or it could be that every food can’t be tasty to me, every human has different taste! The owner was there, wonderful person. Answered all my questions, his hospitality was awesome ! He is originally from Thailand & running this restaurant with his youngest daughter! It’s totally family owned business! Talking to him was like I was talking to my dad, always smiling & very down to earth person !The prices of the food was actually very reasonable & good amount of food in one order. I love the fact on soup orders they have 2 sizes, gives me a chance to try different ones.Typically I try not to visit one place twice, because second time my experience always not the best. I just don’t wanna ruin the first memories! But I will definitely visit this place again , because of the hospitality! I am hoping it will be the same or even better. And I can try out the different items on the menu !I wish I could give 5 stars, but had to take it out because of the 2 dishes which wasn’t liked by a big foodie! Trust me when I say my son has a taste like my dad, very distinct on his choices ! I will try the same food in the restaurant while it’s hot , just so I can confirm my opinions !If you are in queens please do visit this place , you will definitely not regret!
We were planning to go to a Bengali famous fusion restaurant, but cjanged the plan sincenthey served rotten meat curry last time. So we decided to try Thai Nara dor party of 30 people. Thai Nara is not too big. Just big enough to fit 30 people. So we had the entire restaurant for our own group. So which was great. The service was fine. Food was great. Good location. The servers were very nice and welcoming. I recommend this place.
Amazing food! It was my first time trying it with some friends and the food was yummy! We had Pad Kee Mao, Mee Siam Noodle, Mango sticky rice and a lemonade lychee drink. Everything was yummy! And the best Thai food I’ve had in a while, small spot but definitely worth revisiting and the lady who helped me order over the phone was great as well!
Always love this place when I come. Home cooked feel to the food. Also the chicken is never rubbery. Went back today and the food is as consistent as ever. Also the Thai soup is amazing on a cold day.
Thai Nara’s dishes are consistently high quality. Delivery is quicker than other restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and warm. They also included a date in my delivery during Ramadan for iftar. ❤️Great service, great food, halal. Highly recommend.
Authentic Thai food made to perfection. Generous portions. Outstanding service. Love this place. They deserve 10 stars. Highly recommended.
Everything tasted great, was cooked just right, and the portions were the right size for sharing and trying many things. The prices are also very reasonable and the service is friendly. The deep fried fish was particularly tasty, it wasn't greasy at all, and the sauce was delicious. The laab had plenty of meat and the smoked chilis were a nice tough. The dumplings were plump and tasty.
The pad siew and papaya salad here reminds me of authentic Thai food I haven’t tasted since my time in Thailand!! Amazing food and probably the best pad siew I’ve had in all of NYC :)
The service was amazing, they were very nice and welcoming. Food was also great, halal, and everything tasted really good. Definitely recommend and would go again and again.
