I would give It 5 stars if It weren’t for the fact that if you’re ordering for delivery you have to SPECIFICALLY tell them to put lettuce and tomato on a burger. If not they will legit give you two patties sauce and buns. By the time It gets to you the buns are soaked and it’s all a mushy meaty mess. PUT LETTUCE AND TOMATOES FFS
Very warm and special tavern, suitable for a person in a daze.
The food was delicious and they had great unique cocktails, service was so friendly too. Definitely a different vibe from the other places around but in the best way!
Crabcakes were small but delicious. Ordered Wagyu beef burger and filet mignon cooked medium but it was more like medium rare. You could literally taste the raw meat in the middle. Service was good and so were the lychee martinis! Overall ok experience but a bit overpriced for the quality.
Love this place! Great ambience around the Resturant, love how their bartender put their drinks together. The waitress are attentive, checks up on our table every other 10 minutes just to make sure we have everything we need, highly recommend!!
Great place, food and staff. Had my daughter's 1st birthday there and a weekly patron. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone that loves great food and vibes.
Burned buttermilk chicken burger?.If you want burned chicken with two bun ?. THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!!!!
Had to review it as soon as I woke up, I may have found my favorite place in flushing! The place is cozy, decor is tasteful and interesting (a lot deals with wilderness decorations) and the staff is incredible!!!!! I can’t write enough about how lovely the staff is, they’re so kind accommodating to every request we had. And the food was amazing! The drinks were beautifully presented as well. We had two appetizers, popcorn chicken and the risotto cheese balls. My sister had the slow baked salmon, I had braised short rib and bone marrow(!!!!!!!! Bone marrow!!) and my boyfriend had the Wagyu burger. Seriously one of the best late night spots in queens. We also had two creme caramels which was lovely.
Quaint little tapas bar with great attentive staff. Very nice place to have a small event.
Tavern 157 tries to be high-end restaurant, which seems a bit out of place given it's location. The menu is small but offers a decent variety of cocktails, appetizers, and entrees, which are all unique and prepared well. The largest selection is their wine. While the food tastes good, it doesn't warrant the high price tag. Perhaps what you also pay for is the ambiance and decor. The whole place feels halfway between a great hall and other worldly dimension. Nice place for a date or dinner once in a while.
