The VYBES in this place was very cool and the people were very happy and enjoyable, VERY pretty woman hereBUT!!!! The FOOD sucks honestly had all 3 taco selection and they weren’t really good honestly it was a disappointment!!!If this place had a better menu this place would be great!!!!!But overall it was nice to stop by and listen to music!!!!
This place has a cute name and great tacos. What more could you ask for? An economic and social system not governed by greed? That'd be dope, but such goals are beyond the scope of this establishment. Only organizing and a workers revolution can do that. Support your local union.
Super cute taco joint just off the train (A/S) and a couple of blocks from the beach. Tom, who seems to be the owner, greets you as you walk in and gives you the lay of the land: order with the QR code, taco pick up at the kitchen/trailer, drinks inside (cash only). The outdoor patio is filled with picnic tables and a few high tops. Decor is quirky and the vibe is great. Tacos and fun sides like elotes, and mango & cucumber salad are delicious too!
Nice vibe, bright colors, large seating area. The fish taco was fine, the cucumber and mango salad, and the fresh pineapple juice were rather uninspiring.
Cute spot. Got a margarita and some tacos. Nice and chill. Sat outdoors and there’s also some lockers to rent to store your surfboards.

The food was AWESOME. I had pickled veggies and tacos — everything was just superb. Fresh food and super tasty and super affordable! The bartender was quite odd - I felt like I was annoying him for a drink even though it was a weekday during the day and was empty inside. Bar is cash only as an FYI but if you decide to go to the beach — I DEFINITELY recommend going! The manager (or owner?) is SO nice too. I was by myself and he made me feel very welcomed!
Truly the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. This place is everything you want out of a beachside joint-refreshing drinks, fresh ingredients tacos and good outdoor vibes. A few things to note:1) EVERYONE loves this place so it gets extremely busy. At its busiest I’ve stood in a wrapping line through the space for 45-60 minutes to order. I’ve started planning my trips for when they first open. On weekdays we’ve basically had the place to ourself the first 30 minutes and it is spectacular.2) currently they have a QR code ordering system meaning you can pay with your card, however typically I believe they only take cash. There is an ATM on site.3) everything is good but these fish tacos are seriously the best.
The first time I found this place 4 years ago I accidentally came upon a color party, where they throw packs of powder with all types of neon colors. That was amazing! The tacos are okay and nothing to write home about for their price.
Still love the vibe and location, only the food fell flat. Been eating here for years and was my fav taco spot in NYC. Yesterdays taco was the first time I left disappointed ;) Fish taco ingredients weren't fresh. Super bummed. No more fresh coconuts either. Hope this isn't the new norm. I'll try again because we all have our off days. Hopefully they can step their game up
