We loved the food, everything from the carne asada burrito to the vegan tacos. Friendly staff and excellent service!
I had chicken confit mole. It decent but it's tamed down for gringos. I didn't get that mole taste as I got from Cafe Espanol on Carmine Street when it was still open. The rest of the crew got tacos shrimps & chicken. The Guacamole en moljacete was ok. The chips were very country style, very thick.
First time ordering from this restaurant via Door Dash, and the food was delicious. The reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because I didn't receive my nachos which was the main dish that I wanted to try. It's very unfortunate because I wanted to share the food with family and all I received was two tacos and elote. The sauces were pretty good, though. It's just a bummer that I didn't get all the foods I've ordered, and the delivery wait time was almost over an hour. Maybe it's better to order physically in the restaurant so you can see if they got all your food correct.

food is decent when they actually get your order right.....dont order the chips and salsa save yourself the $2.00 and just get the side of chips, they'll give you a teaspoon of salsa on the side and act like its worth the extra money
We love taco azul… the new location is even nicer than the old one. Staff very friendly and welcoming, place is very clean and comforting. Food is awesome.We went with a group of 7 ( 4 adults and 3 kids ) for lunch. Everything from the tacos, burrito bowl, guacamole was delicious and super nice presented. Prices are good for the area but the $15 lunch special cant get topped by anyone around here. Protions are really generous. We will be back and we highly recommend this place …

Tried again the other night. They really need more help, cooks, etc. Had to ask for water 6 times, the other drinks 3 times. Food was good, but the orders weren't correct. Red pickled onions missing form pork quesadilla. Ordered grilled fish, got breaded. Didn't bother to request again, they were so busy when a group of 12 came in. Would have never gotten our food. Probably better for lunch. Dinner is overcrowded, and too slow.

I ordered a burrito al pastor and it was severely lacking in meat. If I wanted a rice burrito, I would have been perfectly satisfied. There was very little bean and extremely little amount of meat. My wife got the carnitas burrito and apparently got all of the beans I was missing and a fantastic portion of meat. So I'm very torn about whether or not I would want to come back. Lack of parking is another big issue.
