Pretty good spot for some Uzbek food. The samsas are a must! The pilaf is solid and the beef is tender. The skewers aren't cooked with charcoal but they still taste good.

This summer we met a young Chinese-American couple who live in Queens while they were visiting Maine. When we asked about favorite restaurants in Queens this was the first one listed. We decided to have dinner on a recent visit to NYC after also visiting the Rokhut Kosher Bukharian Bakery. The Lamb-Rib Kebabs were fabulous may be only for those who love to eat meat off of a bone and prepared for a bit of layered fat. The Lulu Kebabs were also delicious. Also try the Samsa. I wish I could have tried more items but only so much you can eat. The pickled cabbage was unique and could feed 10 people. The ambiance is very nice with table cloths and excellent service. I will definitely return and worth a trip from Manhattan.
5+ stars excellent food, large portions. Prices are mixed but all worth it. Have never got anything I did not like. Even their tea is exceptional. Totally recommend. Staff is friendly very good service. Pleasant atmosphere nice dramatic lighting and background music. You don't feel like your setting on top of everyone. Luncheon special during week is a must but everything on menu is lol.
We used to love coming to this place for sticks of meat, but recently, they have become really greedy. $13 for lunch special? That is not a special at all! One stick of meat, a couple of French fries, and a soup? You called that lunch special? What a rip-off. Agree with the previous reviews, the prices have gone up, but the quantities have not. I understand inflation but this is extreme. Much better meat elsewhere in the area. Will not be returning.

I had the lagman noodle soup which is a must try. Nice chewy texture of the noodles and a savory broth. Ordered a fried Manti and a steamed Manti, imo the fried one was far tastier. Also tried the Lola kebab with French fries. Fries were delicious but a little salty, wouldn't order the Lola kebab again. Overall a decent place for a quick lunch. I will say that I got many many stares and looks as I sat down to eat. Borderline uncomfortable, enough to make me want to get up and leave. The server was nice enough but patrons ..meh.
